"premise maid" or "spontaneous mj tribute day"

Hey Journal!

So yesterday, Saturday, we got up at 7:00am and prepared for our trip to PA to visit Kristen and Don! We got on the road by 8:00 and stopped at the bagel place to get some food for the road. We made very good time, and arrived around 10:45. We stopped at the PA welcome center, and that was our only stop for the trip.

The first thing we did was go to this crazy flea market type place in Kutztown. I had seen a brochure for a crazy Pez store, and apparently it was located in this place. The pez store turned out not to be all that the brochure made it out to be, but the whole giant "antique" flea market was insane. I bought old 1977 McDonalds drinking glasses. They were cool... but I have no idea what I'm gonna do with them now! lol

After that, we headed back, and stopped at the Premise Maid chocolate/ice cream place. We perused the chocolate goods, and took pictures with the creepy figures. Then we had ice cream, and there was a crazy lady on line who is a Spanish teacher. She was wild, but fun.

We then went back to Kristen and Don's, and walked to Wegmans! Ah Wegmans... a true wonderland!

For dinner we went to the Allentown Brew Works, and I had a steak for dinner.

Now, this would be a good place to mention that I have never really been a big fan of Michael Jackson. I mean, I like some of his songs, but I never loved any of his songs, and he was always a little weird and insane, so I never really considered myself to be much of a fan... but last night somehow became a crazy MJ tribe night.

After dinner, we went to play Mini Golf at a nice mini golf course that was dinosaur fossil themed. When we arrived, and for the first 30 minutes or so... they played nothing but Michael Jackson songs, and we were singing and dancing along. Then they played a Madonna song, which we also danced to, and I have a crazy video of on Facebook.

When we finished Mini Golfing, Dan, Kristen, and Don gave a try at the batting cages. Then we went to Wegmans to buy butter in order to make COOKIES! :)

We then played some scrabble, had some drinks, and of course, we listened to more of the Michael Jackson tribute channel on Sirius. A lot of the songs we had never heard, but then we switched to just playing the ones we knew. Man in the Mirror... ahh. lol

It was so random, and we were dancing and being insane all night.

Oh and Scrabble, Dan got THREE BINGOS in a ROW! How insane is that! That never happens!

Anyway we went to bed around 2, and this morning we got up around 11... Dan just took a shower, and now Kristen is going, and soon we will go out on adventures.

Until later...

Adios. :)
