"frolicking at park" or "cheshie"

Hey Journal! As you read earlier, we got up this morning around 11:00, and we had a wonderful breakfast, of Eggs, Oh!s and bacon!

While we were getting ready to go out, we learned of yet another celebrity death! Billy Mays, the seller of such amazing products as OxyClean and OrangeGlo died! Apparently they aren't sure if he had a heart attack or if it had something to do with something falling on his head the day before when the plane he was on had a rough landing.

Anyway, we got really and headed out, and made a stop at Wegmans, where Kristen had to pick up a prescription, and Dan and I bought a scratch off lotto ticket. We did not win. :(

Then we went to Wawa.

It's very upsetting that we don't have any of these great stores on Long Island. How different life would be if we had Wegmans and Wawa! I don't understand.

We got lunch there, and went to eat at the park. After eating, we took a walk down by the stream, and Kristen and I walked IN the steam down to a little bridge thingy. It was fun. The stream was coldddd but it was really hot outside, so it felt good, but as we started walking down it, the rocks were really sharp and painful! lol

We then went up and walked around the garden area, and took pictures next to a naked statue, and in a gazebo, and other assorted fun.

After the park, we went to Ice Cream World, where we got cones, and sat outside, where a crazy guy with a dog was lettering his dog lick the pavement where cars park, and oil drips, and then the dog was scraping his teeth on the asphalt, and the guy didn't even try to stop him.

Anyway, we headed back, and Dan and I departed for home around 5:10. It took 3 hours to get home. We didn't stop at all. Traffic wasn't bad until we hit the Verrazano. Of course. That is really the worst stretch of road, just before the bridge, and then the belt parkway. SO ANNOYING. Always traffic, and it's always so frustrating.

Alas, we arrived home, watched some TV, I took a shower, and now we're getting ready to go to sleep!

Oh, and one more note on the title of this entry. Cheshie!!! We saw a license plate as we were walking back from Wegmans on Saturday, and it read "CHESHIE"! What a random plate. And we kept saying it all weekend! CHESHIE! haha.
