August 22, 2009 - 11:46 p.m. Hey Journal! Well, I am really exhausted from a day of Block Partying! lol This morning we got up, and the first thing we had to do was drop off Dan's car at the Toyota place. He got his brakes fixed last week, but they've been making an annoying screeching noise ever since... so they have to look into that! After that, we hurried over to McDonald's, and made it just a few minutes before 11 to get breakfast! :) We came home and ate our breakfast, and watched the Planet Green channel! lol Then we got ready for the BLOCK PARTY. We went to Stop and Shop and bought some dessert to bring over to Dan's parents' house, and we also bought a Mega Millions ticket! We got to the block party, and we walked up and down the street a few times, and we went down the crazy water slide. It was less populated this year... people must not have been as into it. The fire truck came and sprayed water as always! Always fun. This year they gave out plastic fire hats. Woo Hoo! Soon after that, Joey arrived, and we walked around some more. Then we decided to go in the pool. It was really warm, and we were in for about 45 minutes, I guess. We got out, got changed, walked around some more, checked out the happenings, and then had some dinner. Some ziti, and later a hamburger. Joey left a little before us, and we left at about 11:00. I just took a shower, and am getting ready for bed! Even though it wasn't the most exciting block party ever... I'm still exhausted!! Goodnight. :)
