"happy halloween!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Well, this Halloween...being on a Saturday was much more eventful than last year's. (Though not necessarily for any other reason than it was on a Saturday!)

We got up around 11:00 and watching some TV and hung around the house. Last night before going to dinner, we stopped at Walgreens to pick up a bag of candy, just in case there were any trick or treaters this year!

We hung around here for a while, and watched Ugly Betty from two weeks ago, and then we decided to get out and go take a walk around the mall. As of then...the count was ZERO.

Before going to the mall, we met my mom for lunch at Boston Market, and took advantage of the $1 meals again! Woo Hoo!

At the mall, there were lots of kids in costumes. It's weird.. I mean, when I was little it never crossed my mind to go Trick or Treating at the MALL! Interesting. We walked around, saw some interesting costumes. On kid had a REAL "Max" costume, so I texted Re to let her know!

A lot of the stores were giving out candy, but some had signs up that said, "Sorry, No Candy :(" ... and yes... they all had the :( after it!

After that we went to Target, and then came home. We watched this past Friday's Ugly Betty, and then it happened!!! WE GOT THE FIRST TRICK OR TREATERS EVER HERE! We got TWO! haha

An all time record! Two!

We then watched some more TV, and at 8:00 we went over to Kristen McD's for some Birthday festivities! Her birthday, of course, is tomorrow... and we went over for the fam celebration! We arrived and it was present time... then we had cake! A wonderful ice cream cake, imported from Ice Cream World in PA!

After cake time, we hung out for a while and just chatted.

We departed around 11:30ish, and now we're home, getting ready for bed.
