"mother's christmas surprise" or "kristens, don, & boxes"

Hey Journal!

This morning Dan and I got up at about 11:00 and we watched last night's Ugly Betty. Then we hung around the house, and got things straightened up, and watched some random TV.

Then, for about two months my mom has been planning this surprise for today, and she wouldn't say what it was, but kept telling us she was planning... so today at 1:00, It went down!

My mom came over, and she brought a pizza for lunch...so we ate, and then she brought two giant bags of presents!! I had no idea that presents would be involved! There were all random little items inside, all very useful though. Things like Q-Tips, shaving cream, soup, tissues! Just a whole bunch of random little things that you usually buy at Target, and stuff! I was actually very happy to receive them, cause they're the things was usually spend money on!!

So, after that, we watched a DVD my mom got us, Mickey's Christmas Carol! What a great movie! I remember watching that when I was little, on video! I love that all the characters are in it... Donald, SCROOGE (my fav!), the ones from Wind in the Willows (Toad, Mole, and Rat), Jiminy Cricket and of course, Mickey.

After the movie, my mom departed, and then we hung around for a little, had a snack, and then at about 4:00 we went over to help Kristen and Don move into their new apartment!

They moved back to the homeland, to Hauppauge. We went over, and they had a large truckload of boxes, boxes, and more boxes! We helped carry them up, along with Kristen's dad and brother. Then it was time for the couch! That was quite a job! They hit the fire alarm on the way up with it, and it wouldn't stop beeping! haha

After that, I decided to take it easy, and Kristen and I started to organize some of the boxes, and move them into the rooms they belonged to.

There was barely any room for more boxes...they were everywhere!

Finally, the job was complete!

Later on, we went to the mall to take a walk around and people watch, and then over to Home Depot, Best Buy, and Target.

Now it's time for bed!
