Hey Journal!

Work today was pretty good... nothing too exciting going on. We got some dues in, which is always a good thing.

For lunch, I had the special which was Meatloaf! It was a strange orange color, but was actually quite tasty.

In the afternoon, Dan's dad and I went to the paint store to get some paint and supplies for next week! Linda and I have volunteered to paint the basement. Although I have suggested sponge paint, or a new color... it will remain the same.

I departed at 5 and got home quickly, stopping at the post office to drop off the late invoices for dues.

We watched the news, which was mostly about Haiti. Lots of craziness. We recorded World News, which was a special 1-hour edition again tonight....

At 7:00, we went to Gasho with my mom for Dan's Birthday! The first of many birthday dinners! It wasn't too crowded there, but it seemed like everyone there had a birthday! They came out with that crazy shooting candle thing like 5 times! Dan didn't want to have them do it for him, though! :(

The hibachi rice was as amazing, as usual! I LOVE that rice! It's the best!

Sadly, we got a chef who wasn't "fun"! WE ALWAYS GET THE UN-FUN ONES! Why!?!?! :( All the other ones were doing the things with their knives, and singing, and ours was not.

Afterwards, we went to the police station. Yes, that crazy lady with no driver's license reported the incident to her insurance! What a fool! I hope that the person who owns the car, and has the insurance gets dropped from their insurance for letting this lady without a license operate their car! HAHAH Cause- I wasn't gonna report anything..so she's bringing this on herself!

So, we got a copy of the police report, and then we went to Target where we got a second plastic storage bin for our Christmas stuff. We have too much to fit in one anymore.

We got home around 9 and watched World News. Diane sawyer was crazy, as usual. But wow, they showed some crazy stuff in Haiti! It's really insane. Even though the news teams and all are there now, they keep showing the same scenes and photos over and over and over... it gets a little redundant after a while.

Then they showed the Chinese landing with their aid people... and they come out with these giant chinese flags!! Are you SERIOUS?? This isn't a PARADE! Wow.

Anyway, I just took a shower, and now it's time for bed!
