"biscuit in the basket"

Hey Journal!

It's late and I hafta get to bed for work... so I'll have to make it a quickie!

Work today was good, our friend in the office spent the whole day telling her story on the phone to whoever would listen. It's getting a little old... and it's none of my business... so I'd really like to not hear it anymore.

We got some due in today, they finally started coming in!

I left at 5:15 and drove to Dan's work, and Dan's dad met us there, and we drove together to Nassau Coliseum for the Islanders game! Dan got free tickets from work.

It was fun! We had a good time! Dan's dad made us sandwiches, and we ate them in the car on the way. The game was good... not too long... even though it went into overtimes, and then ended in a shootout! The Islanders won!

But let me tell you... what a crowd this game draws! Everyone there was HIDEOUS! Ugly, ugly, ugly. There were maybe one or two moderately good looking people, but the majority were butt ugly. Then, there was this guy sitting behind us who kept screaming at the game.... He sounded like.. (no joke..) a cross between Joe Pesce in Home Alone screaming "MARV" and Chewbacca. It was insane. He was so annoying.

My two favorite phrases yelled from those around us, "Put the biscuit in the basket!" and "My mother shoots better than you!"

We got home around 10:45 and I just took a shower... now it's time to get some sleep! Work tomorrow, and out for Dan's b-day!
