"panormous sunday"

Hey Journal!

This morning, I got up at 11:00! I got a nice night's sleep, and when I got up, I watched some Curling on the Olympics, and then my mom came over and I helped her do her taxes.

Dan slept even later... he got up at 1:00, and we had cereal for breakfast, then watched some more Curling, and then at 3:00, we headed out to the mall!

We walked around a few times, and then went for a lunch/dinner at Pizza Hut! We got the "Panormous" Pizza special, which really is a good deal! It's $5 for a bigger Personal Pan Pizza. The regular Personal Pan is like $4.50, and the large pie is $12.99, so you wind up getting more pizza for a much better price! It's hidden in the menu, and actually... it wasn't even ON Dan's menu!

The waitress was nice, but kinda crazy, AND for some reason it was crazy busy there, and she was THE ONLY waitress there. She had EVERY table in the place, and she was running around like a mad woman. We had to wait a while for our food, but some people had to wait over 10 minutes just standing at the door for her to acknowledge them and seat them, when there were plenty of open tables! Basically, it was a mess!

Our pizza was good... perhaps I was a little overzealous, and burnt my tongue on my first slice. :(

On the way home, we noticed that across the street they are building a Denny's! Now I have been told that the food isn't the best, but either way...it's a momentous occasion because it's the first one on LONG ISLAND! We deserve to have the same things as the rest of the country!! Now, all we need is a Sonic and a Wegman's and life will be complete!

After that, we got home, hung out for a while, I took a shower, and Dan watched Olympic Hockey! Canada vs. USA!

We just finished watching Desperate Housewives, and now it's time for bed!
