"steve's back" or "periwinkle boutique"

Hey Journal!

It's 2:19am, and Dan is still not home. :(

This morning I got up for work, and headed off for the big day.. Steve's return!

We made a banner for him, and hung it behind his desk. It said, "Welcome Back, Steve!" and had pictures of sailboats on it. In the little window, I put a picture of Steve from when we were on his boat! It was funny. Dan's mom brought in a balloon for him.

I had some CPC stuff to do today, finished ordering out last 6,000 postcards! Nice! The day kinda flew by. For lunch, I had the meatloaf special. It was good. I was a little concerned because the meatloaf at work is not usually very enjoyable. In fact, it's usually orange.. but it was good today! :)

A random Staples delivery came today... just one box of file folders. I don't know why exactly it came...very strange.

I started working on a little CPC project in the afternoon, but I couldn't finish. I stayed at work till 5:10, but then departed for home.

On the drive, I talked to Kristen who had a story to tell me about something she had heard on Sirius earlier! Then we talked about dinner, and I told her that we were probably going out to eat with Scott, and she said she and Don would be up for dining out also!

So, I got home and got ready, and waited for Scott to come over. I watched World News, and then when he arrived, we went over and picked up Kristen and Don! Dan, who was working late, AGAIN, took a little dinner break and came with us, so... we went and picked him up from work.

Before going to dinner, we got the grand tour of the office...since noone else was there, really. After that, we made a quick stop at Petsmart because Kristen and Don needed to pick up some hay for Melville.

We went to CPK in the Walt Whitman Mall for dinner. There was a 25 minute wait, so we walked around the mall. As we passed the Piercing Pagoda, we noticed DEBBIE! We went over and said Hi, and talked for a little while!

Finally, our table was ready. Our waitress left a little something to be desired. She was a little strange at first, but nothing really bad... but then after we were starting to winder why our food was taking so long, she came over to say that she had forgotten to put our orders in the computer, and needed to take our orders again! She apologized a couple of times, but was a little weird... and so we didn't leave her the best tip. We would have much appreciated a little discount, or perhaps a free appetizer or dessert, or even a thing of BREAD while we waited for the second time. lol

Our table in the restaurant was right up against a window looking into the mall, and our towards a store called "Periwinkle Boutique!" What a store. Barely anyone went in there, and it didn't look like those who did purchased anything. But it, and the photo booth nearby, and the bast of characters that passed by provided endless entertainment for our mealtime.

After that, we brought Dan back to work, and he had to stay much later, and so we returned to Kristen and Don's. We hung out, watched Melville play a game of Find the Pepper, and we played some Mario Kart, and TRIED to watch a Facebook video, however our efforts were not successful!

I got home a little while ago, and took a shower. It's time for bed now...I'm exhausted!!
