"losmets" or "american flag bandanna bra""

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up at about 10:00, and started getting ready for our Saturday of METS!

I took a shower, and Dan went out on his morning walk. Scott came around 11:00, and we went across the street to the deli and got some sandwiches for the game. Then we came back, and waited for Liz to arrive. When she did, we went over to the food store, and bought some snacks. Scott brought waters for everyone.

We arrived at "Citi-Field" aka ShittyField, a little before 1, and the game was to start at 1:10! We had to go to the "Will Call" window to pick up our tickets, because Dan got them free from a guy that he works with.

When we got in, I was happy to discover that it was FREE SCARF DAY! Woo Hoo! We each got a cool orange and blue Mets scarf, and it certainly came in handy. It was a really nice day out, but outside the stadium, it was windy and a little chilly. When we got to our seats, thought, it was pleasantly warm, and comfortable!

This woman sitting in front of us was wearing the most insane thing. She had an American flag bandanna covering her boobs, and it was tied around her back with a string. It was hideous... but at least it matched her face.

We had a fun time at the game, but unfortunately the Mets lost! :( They really had a chance for a comeback, but it didn't happen. Oh Mets...

After the game, we decided to take a walk since it was such a beautiful day out. We walked over to the Unisphere and then around the park. :)

We made our way back to the car, and then headed home. Liz had a going away party to attend, so we tried t oget her back in time for that, and I think it worked out perfectly, that she didn't miss any of it.

When we got home, we went online for a while, watched some TV, and then for dinner, we went to Panera. It was kinda quiet there tonight, we had a nice time. While I was eating, I was watching these two people using their laptops. They were sitting face to face, with their laptops back to back, and they each had earphones in, and were doing their own things on the computers. They didn't speak at all. Then all of a sudden, the guy gets up, and slams his laptop closed, very harshly... and the girl is just staring at him, and he says something to her, and his facial expression was so crazy... he looked very MEAN and MAD. He stormed off, threw out his food and stuff, and then came back, and stormed out. The girl looked bewildered, and she slowly packed up her stuff, and left too. After this all went down, I told Dan, and his back was to the scene.... and as we kept looking over, we noticed the people who had been sitting next to them talking about it too! They were trying to figure it out as well. In fact, the girl sitting next to them was re-enacting it for her friends. It was definitely bizarre.

When we got home, I took a shower, and then Dan and I watched the first half of a movie called "Were the World Mine." It is an... interesting movie. It's definitely a little strange, but I'm following it so far. I just can't keep my eyes open anymore!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
