"trivia night with angela"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up at the usual time and headed off to work. It was a pretty typical Monday. I stopped at the PO Box and got the CPC mail, and then it was a quiet morning at the golf course.

FedEx came early with the news "Almost Golf" balls, which go 30% of the distance of a regular ball, and also float. They are going to be our replacement balls for the driving range! Hopefully, the members won't be able to hit them into the water, and the ones that do go in there will float, and can be somewhat easily retrieved! We went outside with the samples and watched Bill hit them.

Once we were sure those were the ones, I went to work ordering them! We got a pretty good deal on them, and ordered 5,000! Woo. Half will be coming on Thursday and the rest on Monday.

For lunch, I had my Monday special of turkey on white bread! Then, in the afternoon, I went back to the PO Box because there was a note in there this morning that a special Express mail which required a signature was waiting for me. Amazingly, it was the payment we have been waiting for for MONTHS from one of the churches. We were starting to think it was never coming, and that the church had run off with the people's money! Even though it took months, we finally got it!

On the way home from work, I stopped at the bank to deposit those checks! Didn't wanna waste any time with that! haha

So, when I got home, I watched some news, and then when Dan got home, we got ready for TRIVIA night! Re and Robby had gone last week, and so we joined this time. Shawn and Caitlin came also! It was at the Sage Cafe. The place is very strange... but interesting. The trivia was fun!

We had to split into two teams since there was a max of 4 per team! We didn't do so well in the first two rounds, but the really stepped up our game in the last two rounds. (However, this did not make much of a difference. We came in pretty close to the bottom! We weren't last, though!)

My only complaints... the music questions were all annoying and there was way too much time between rounds.

Anyway, we got home a little while ago, and I took a shower, and got ready for bed! We didn't watch 24 or Gossip Girl tonight! Gotta catch up tomorrow!

Off to bed now...
