"calypso rice"

Hey Journal!

Happy Friday!

Work today was pretty much the usual! I was happy that today wasn't as crazy as the rest of the days this week have been. It was nice to finally feel like I wasn't trying to get a million things done at once! I was so happy to depart at 5:00 and get the weekend started.

For lunch today I had my signature meal of two pieces of grilled chicken, but instead of fries, I had some of the "Calypso Rice" that was part of one of the specials today! It was actually really good. It was rice with chicken broth, and onions, and some things I can't remember at the moment. It also had "banana peppers" which I am clearly not a fan of, but was able to either avoid, or not acknowledge while eating them.

When I got home, we went online for a while, and then planned, as we usually do on Friday nights, to visit Joey! We were hoping to go with David, but unfortunately, he wasn't available. When we got there, Joey was disappointed that he had decided not to come. :P

Dinner was good.... we hung out for a while and talked to Joey, and then departed and headed home.

We watched some TV, and now it's time for sleep!
