"it's that time of year again"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up at regular time and it was a rainy morning. It had pretty much stopped by the time I got to work, though.

It was nice and quiet in the morning, and I had a bagel and orange juice for breakfast. After that, it was insanity. I forgot just how intense it is in the weeks leading up to May 1st at the golf course. The dues are all due then.... and it's the one time of the year when almost every single member has a bill due, and man... it is OVERWHELMING!! I spent most of the day working on stuff with that, and then the mail came and dumped more on my desk.

Once I was done with that, Karen had left a bunch of new members to be set up over the weekend, so I had a tonnnn more to do! It never ended today.

For lunch, Dan's dad made me my Monday special of Turkey on white bread, and it was most enjoyable.

At the end of the day, Dan's dad was checking out some stuff in the locker room, and I went up there a few times to help with that, and a little after 5, I departed and headed HOME!

I worked on the Korean Presentation for Wednesday. I got the translation back this afternoon, and went to work adding slides and all that fun stuff. The free trial on Apple's iWork had run out, so I had to go and buy it! :P

Dan and I spent some time looking at hotels for Paris because the one we had tried to book was not available, and we decided we would not book at any hotel that doesn't have an online booking system! After lots of craziness and frustration, and a couple of nice and relatively inexpensive hotels that were booked up, we finally settled on one through Expedia, and even found a $40 off coupon code. At least now we are done with that, and know we have all those important accommodations done with, and all that's left is to find fun things to do while we're there! :)

(And with the craziness at work lately, it can't come soon enough, or last long enough!!)

Anyway, I just took a shower, and although it's a little later than usual... I hope to be wide awake tomorrow morning! :)
