"smithtown day" or "cpc at karen's"

Hey Journal!

This morning we got up a little after 10 and watched some TV. We finished watching What Would You Do? Then we decided to take a walk down to Smithtown Day, which has been called "Smithtown Festival Day" this year.

As I said, we walked there instead of driving. Surprisingly it the walk went by very fast, and soon the "festival" was upon us. It was pretty sad, as usual. There wasn't all the much going on, just a bunch of people peddling their wares. The only "free" item that we got that was really good was a "$5 Gift Certificate" to La Cucina, which is where we get our pizza from. That should come in handy.

After a few passes down the street, Dan's parents came, and we walked around again with them. After that, they drove us back home and dropped us off!

We hung around at home, and then we watched last week's Glee. It was pretty good. After that, we took a trip to the mall and walked around, then went to Target to stock up on food/drink. We had almost nothing in the refrigerator since we got back from vacation, and were in desperate need of some essentials!

At 6:00, I went over to Karen's house to work on our church plot presentation! First we worked on the script, and then took a little break for Chinese food. Young, our translator, had to go back to get her laptop at work, so in the meantime, Karen gave me the grand tour of her house and then we went to pick up the food.

We got back just before Young, and then we had our dinner, and she started working on the translations. It was getting late, so we decided to finish up tomorrow night!

I came home... It was a nice night out on my drive home. All day long they said it was going to rain, and it never did. In fact, it was supposed to really start pouring around 6, and it got kinda dark for about 10 minutes, but then the sun came out again, and it was beautiful!

I got home a little while ago, and Dan had gone out for his walk. I took a shower, and now it's about time for bed!

Work tomorrow... Steve is going to be back!
