"down the hatch 2010"

Hey Journal!

Today was DOWN THE HATCH!

We got up this morning and got ready for our day in the city at Down the Hatch! Dan was refreshed after a good night's sleep, and we took the train from Ronkonkoma to Penn! We went a little later than everyone else. On the way to the station we stopped at the bagel store and got some breakfast.

The train ride went fast, and then we took the subway downtown. While we were buying our tickets, we helped a group of people who had British accents purchase an all-day MetroCard. :) Yay for helping Brits!

We arrived, and basically it was a fun and crazy day as usual! Kristen, Lau, and Jen B had arrived early and secured the prime table for our group! It was really croweded this time because it was the US vs. England World Cup game. It was crazy there! The game was a little weird though... it was anticlimactic! It was tied, and then just ended without any excitement.

We had a great time playing games, and singing to the music, and just being crazy. :) Good times all around!

I got lots of good pics! I put them online already!

We left a little after 6, and went with Re and Lau to the New York Superdry! The one and only US location! It's crazy... some of the clothes were nice, but they were ridiculously expensive! Even in Oxford, with the conversion, they were kinda expensive, but here they were insane! The same shirt Dan bought for about $20 in Oxford was $42 here! Insane! I guess we can only buy our Superdry clothes in England. :P

We took the Subway back to Penn and then stopped to get a little snack and some water for the train ride. It was perfect timing, just as we got to the waiting area, the track was announced, and we went right down! We got a good seat. The ride home wasn't too bad... Re, Lau, and I conversed, and Dan fell asleep for most of the trip!

My mom drove us home, and we stopped for a slice of pizza at Branchinelli's, and then when we got home, we watched some TV and relaxed for a while. It felt much later than it actually was. I took a shower, and then we watched Pearl Harbor on AMC.

We're gonna get to sleep soon!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
