"upside down receipts" or "doctor who"

Hey Journal!

This morning Dan and I got up around 10:30. We watched TV and hung around for a bit. For breakfast, we went to McDonald's and got food to bring home. We hurried there because we thought breakfast was only served until 11, but found out that on Sundays, it goes until 11:30! Important info to remember!

We were going to go to Huntington for the parade, and Scott was going to come with us. He was supposed to meet us at 11:30... but 11:30 came and went, and there was no sign of him! At 12:00, we decided we had to get going... so we left him a note outside our front door, and also included the house phone in a box so he could call us to let us know he was on his way... however.. at about 12:30 I got a message from him on Facebook saying he wasn't coming. :/

Alas, we got there, and met Jen B. It was lame this year. It's lame every year. I think next year we're skipping it.

We walked around, and I got my the mints that I love so much from that real estate lady's booth, and then we departed.

We went to the golf course so I could get the projection screen for the big presentation tomorrow, and then I also fixed the receipt printer in the restaurant that was mysteriously printing things UPSIDE DOWN. It was so strange, I have never seen it do anything like that, and have no idea what would have sparked it to do that!

Then we came home, watched some TV, and had Chinese for dinner!

We started watching "Doctor Who" from the BBC. It's available on Netflix. We watched the first episode and a half of the first season. It's good so far... a little slow moving, but we're gonna give it a little longer! It'll be good summer entertainment since all the TV shows are off!

I just got out of the shower, and had wanted to be in bed a little earlier.... so I'd better get going!
