"beach" or "i go with her to give her my nip"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up around 10:30, and Re had already left. She apparently got up around 7 and wasn't feeling too well, so she headed home. Dan and I cleaned up a little, and got things put away, and then we went out to breakfast with Sean, Caitlin, Tommy, etc. Fred was really tired, so he stayed behind and slept some more.

We went to the Candlelight Diner, and we had breakfast! It was a fun time... and while we ate, we watched Power Rangers on the TV! What a crazy show!

After that, we went to Target, and helped Shawn and Caitlin pick out things they needed. For example, we helped Caitlin choose and find the right 4 subject notebook. Then Caitlin sprayed Shawn in the face with Febreeze.

When we got back, Fred was getting up from his slumber, and Dan and I finished the clean-up efforts.

We then departed for the beach! We had contemplated going to Fire Island, but because it was late, and because Kristen and Don were at Robert Moses, we went to meet up with them there! They were at Field 3! The water was a little cold, but the temperature of the beach was just right! We brought an umbrella and everything, and I pretty much stayed in the shade... but I loved it. It was a nice relaxing day!

This was Fred's first time in the Atlantic ocean that he remembers. He went to a beach once when he was 1 or 2 years old, he said, but this was his first REAL trip! He went in the water, and really enjoyed it. Kristen and Dan also went in for a while! I liked hanging out in the tidal pool!

Kristen's parents and grandparents were also at the beach, and we hung out with them, and enjoyed the day. We stayed at the beach for a few hours, and then headed back home.

I took a shower, and got ready for the night, and then we went to the mall at 9:00 and we walked around a bit, then met up with Re and went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I usually get my Chicken and Biscuits, but today I was tempted to go for something new... off of the "special menu"! I got the Salisbury Chopped Steak....or the "chop-ed" steak, as Fred called it!

We sat outside, and it was a perfect night! We had a lot of fun! Fred loved out waitress, Emily. He sang a song by a french singer, Joe Dassin, called "Emilie!" He also said, "I go with her?" when we gave her his credit card... and then told us he wanted to give her his "nip"! (French for PIN!)

After that, we came home, and now it's time for a semi-early bed so we can get up nice and early for the Mets game tomorrow! :)
