"re's party: 27 + 22 days"

Hey Journal!

I got up at 9:30 yesterday, and Dan and I ate our leftovers from Smokin' Al's last night! We watched some Phineas and Ferb, too!

Then we continued our Dr. Who marathon, by watching one of the 2009 "Special" episodes.

After that, I took a shower, and then headed over to Re's house to help her prepare for her party. Dan was tired, and had a headache, so he stayed home and rested a little longer. When I arrived, Sara and Nicole were there, and we headed right out to go to lunch at Houlihan's. I got the Chicken Parm Sandwich... it was pretty good. Our waitress was a little odd, though.

After lunch, we went to Target to get some party supplies. Re purchased pretzels, and goldfish, and cheese balls, and appetizers, and all sorts of good stuff. Then, we went over to Stop and Shop to buy some Strawberry Daiquiri mixes, and then to the nearby liquor store for rum.

We came back and dropped everything off in the freezer, and then headed over to the beer distributor place to stock up. I had never been to that place in Ronkonkoma... I passed it a million times, but never ever went inside! It was crazy.... the cooler area was wild, and had these really old looking doors, and then the man at the counter had a cool microphone to talk to the people in the back. It was something else!

We headed back to Re's, unloaded all of the goods, and then I hung out for a little while longer before heading home to get my stuff, get Dan, and get ready for the party.

While I was home, I put together some old pictures from 2000-2005 of some fun times, and hoped to project them during the party... but that idea didn't work out so well, because Re didn't have any suitable walls for projecting! It was okay though, we just showed them on the laptop for a little while in the beginning of the party.

We headed over around 7:00, and stoped at Dunkin Donuts on the way to get a donut!

The party was lots of fun, it was a good turnout! There was music, crazy dancing, beer pong, flip cup...what more could you ask for.

As the party wound down, I spent a while in the living room talking to Liz, and then at about 3:00, we headed home.

I told Kristen.. It felt so unusual having a party at her house! Her house is usually the "wholesome" house, where we bake cookies, or make dinner, or play po-ke-no, or do arts and crafts! It was very out of character to do such things there!

I can't believe it's so late today! We woke up at 1:00! Nuts!!

Gotta go get the day started before it's over!

Adios for now. :)
