"jen b's basement night"

Hey Journal!

Today we slept until about 11:00, and when we got up, we spent the day watching TV and just being lazy around the house. We watched the first episode of Season 5 of Dr. Who! It was pretty good, but I have to say that I really do miss David Tennant! It's not the same without him! I think it'll take some time to get used to.

We really didn't do anything all day... we had thought we might drive to Atlantic City for the day, but a ton of things came up and we didn't know what to do. We wound up staying here, and going to Jen B's basement for a "post post Thanksgiving" get together!

We didn't actually leave the house until about 4:00, and when we did, we went to the bank to deposit my paycheck, and then to Target in Commack. We checked out the frame section, and we were happy to find that they had the $12 frame set! So, we got it! Also, I got my Target credit card in the mail today, and was very happy with that! I love that we can save 5% on EVERY single purchase! It's a pretty good deal, and better than getting points on our regular credit cards, where the maximum reward we're gonna get back is 1%! (and even at that, we'd have to wait to accumulate enough points to redeem it!)

So, after that, we headed over to the mall to take a walk around, and then went to meet everyone at Chili's for dinner at 7:00. We were a little early, but there was no wait at all, so we didn't have to put our name down or anything. Re & Jen B arrived shortly after, and then we got a table. Robby came in, and didn't realize we were already there!

We had a fun dinner. Robby and I got the two for $20 special. After dinner, we went to Jen B's basement to watch Robby's power hour video he had made. He was planning on showing it at Re's party a few weeks ago, but the computer crashed and he lost it all, so he worked on it again, and we all wanted to see it. He had to go home to get it because it was still burning, so in the meantime, Jen B, Re, Dan, and I watched some random TV shows in the basement.

When we first arrived, Re and I were quite upset because the furniture had been rearranged! Apparently, HB decided to move things around, but it just didn't work for us.. so we put it back the way it always used to be! :)

Then we watched some show about prisons, and then started to watch Home Alone 2! Robby came over with the computer, and was still waiting for it to finish, and when it was done.. we watched! It had all fun clips of our favorite movies, and it was cool!

After it was over, we put the TV back on, and Richie Rich was on! What a great movie! Ahhh! We hung out for a little while longer, and then Robby had to depart, so we all headed out.

When we got home, Dan and I watched the end of Richie Rich, and I was extremely offended... because at the end, when Regina says, "Oh my god, my nose! I look like Michael Jackson!" They cut out the Michael Jackson part! I guess they were afraid it was in poor taste because he's dead?? But... that's stupid! It's part of the movie! It's GREAT! Shame on ABC Family for such a thing!

Anyway, it's time for bed now!

Only one more day left of our four day Thanksgiving weekday! So sad! It went by much too fast!
