"merry christmas 2010"

Hey Journal!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This morning we got up around 10:00 and we got ready to go over to Dan's parents' house for a Christmas morning brunch. We got there at 11, and first we ate, I had a bagel and some sausage, and then we opened presents!! Dan's brother loved the gifts we got him, one was a hoodie with earphones in the drawstring of the hood! It was pretty cool, and unbeknownst to us, he had actually really wanted that... so it worked out perfectly!

At 1:00, we left for round 2 of our Christmas day. We headed home to get some stuff, and then went over to spend the afternoon with my fam. When we first arrived, we hung out for a while, and Dan and I gave my mom her present, gave my grandpa his present, and opened a few as well! :)

We watched the Mr. Bean Christmas episode which was on the Spanish Channel! It wasn't really that big of a deal, because there's almost no talking in the show at all! Must have been easy for worldwide syndication!

We had dinner a little after 2! Lasagna! Matt was rather upset that there was no Christmas Ham, and while I wasn't all that concerned with it at the time, looking back, a ham would have been appropriate.

After dinner, we all hung around, did random stuff, watched some TV, and had fun.

The day went by quickly, and we had dessert. Shortly after, Aunt Maureen left and then everyone else followed. It was a fun day, though! The first time in a few years (at least) that I've spent Christmas there, and it was fun! Not exactly the way it was when we were little, but a lot the same!

Dan and I left around 9:00 and headed home. We watched the Disney Christmas Parade which we had recorded earlier. It was on at like 12:00 today, which was really weird because it was never on that late before! I wonder why they did that!

After that, I took a shower, then heated up some leftover Chinese food from last night, and we watched the rest of the movie we had started... Pink Cadillac! I really liked that movie! It's so funny that I used to like that when I was around 11 or 12! What a strange movie for a kid to want to watch!

Alas, now it's almost midnight, and Christmas is almost over! I can't believe it... it went so fast... it feels like it's still coming, like maybe tomorrow or the next day is really Christmas... but no... It's already done!

The big talk today was the "blizzard" we're expected to get tomorrow! It's supposed to be at least 8-16 inches of snow! Wilddd! I really don't need any snow, but if we're going to get some, let's let it be a lot, and let's have off from work on Monday! Woo Hoo!! :)

Hope everyone got what they wanted from Santa and had a very fun and happy Christmas with their families!! :)

Now it's off to bed, and I'll end my entry this year, the way I have for many years.

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)

And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. 10 And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; 11 for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger." 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!"
