"pizza hut and denny's...oh my"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up around 10:30 and watched some TV while waiting for Dan to wake up. Then, we watched an episode of Dr. Who, which actually turned into two episodes since it was a two-parter!

We went to the mall to take a walk around, and then we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. We had the same waitress as last time (the one who's more competent there) and she remembered us from the "Secret Pepperoni" incident last time! Luckily there was no secret pepperoni this time!!

Then we went to Price Club to return some toilet paper that we had purchased last time. It went on sale, so we figured we would just return it and use the coupon to rebuy it. I don't know if they do adjustments... obviously it would make sense, but I've learned that they aren't the friendliest or most obliging people there. (Which is surprising since it's a store where you have to PAY to be a member and shop there... but they have no customer service skills.)

Then we went to Target, and after that, came home. We watched another episode of the Doctor, and finished off that disc. It's most inconvenient now having to use DVDs, we got spoiled watching all of the other seasons through the Wii, but for some odd reason, this one isn't offered that way!

Then we decided to go to the movies to see The King's Speech. We got some free movie passes from Dan's work Christmas party, so we figured we would use them. It was a good movie, I thought it was interesting. We were definitely the youngest people in the theater. We we looking as people filed out afterwards, and couldn't find one person younger than us... or even CLOSE. It was pretty crazy.

We were pretty hungry, so we went to Denny's and -- I have to tell you -- my hopes were not high. The past couple of times we went there, the service has been AWFUL! It takes them forever to come over, forever to bring the food, and forever to bring the check. It's pretty bad. Tonight, however, not as bad. It was a little slow in the beginning, but then got better. When I checked in on foursquare, I noticed that there were several "tips" left by others that said the service is horrible! :P

We got home around 11:15, and I watched this week's episode of Greek! I had totally forgotten it was on on Monday night, and then the rest of the week was so busy with Dan's birthday, that I didn't get to watch! Good episode. :) Love that show.

Now, it's off to bed! Until tomorrow...
