"triple park hopping"

Hey Journal!

This morning, Dan and I got up at 8:00am! We set the wake-up call, but unfortunately, when it rang, I pressed something on the phone which made it not say whatever it says! I was sad, cause I wanted to hear it!

Anyway, we got up and ready, and off we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios! We got to the bus stop around 8:40, and were trying to get there for the opening at 9, but we just missed it, and arrived around 9:05. We hurried over to the Toy Story area, and got a FastPass. It was already up to 11:30! Wild!

Then, we went over and did the single rider line of Rock N Roller Coaster! From there, we walked around a little, went to The Great Movie Ride, and then and went to "One Man's Dream."

After that, we got a pretzel and frozen lemonade for a snack, and shared it!

Next, we went to the Indiana Jones "Epic Stunt Spectacular" which I hadn't seen since the first time I came to Disney back in 1998 (I think!) It was actually a lot better than I had remembered it... I enjoyed.

When we were done with that, our FastPass for Toy Story Midway Maina were ready!!! We hurried over, and it was great! I really love that ride! It's no wonder there always such a crazy long line for it! They should make a second one next door in what used to be the Millionaire game. They could really cut down the lines!

The only thing we didn't get to do, that I would have liked to, was go on Tower of Terror. Too long of a wait!

After that, we headed over to Animal Kingdom for lunch. When we got there, we went straight to the Yak & Yeti to see about getting a table there. We weren't sure we could, but we figured we could give it a try. Amazingly, they said it would be about 15 minutes, and then it turned out to be only two!!

Lunch was enjoyable... I got the Lo Mein, and it was great! The straws there are so crazy, they're made of some sort of cardboard and they start to get soft by the end of the meal.

After lunch, we hurried over to Expedition Everest, and wanted to get in one ride! We went for the Single rider line, which was a little longer than usual, though still much much shorter than the regular line. We waited about 10 minutes.

The two people in front of us got to the front of the line, and when it came time to go to the next available row, they announced that they wanted to be together. The woman explained that the single rider line means you have to split up, but the woman wasn't having it. She said, "I waited an hour on this line!" (Which is crap, because we were right behind her, and it was like 10 minutes.) The girl told her that they couldn't ride together on the single rider line, and pointed out the SEVERAL signs that say that all over the line. Okay, lady... riiiight. She left... good riddance! But really? Why didn't she just split up and go on the ride?!

We checked out Camp Minnie Mickey and got our picture with a little rabbit, and then off to Magic Kingdom! We took the bus to the TTC and then the monorail to MK!

We met up with Frank and his friend Tom there, and went to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor! Thenwe went on the PeopleMover... one of my all-time favorites! :)

We got an Orange Slush at the Sunshine Tree Terrace.. I love that place too. I love its polynesian-ish theme!

Next up, we went on the Pirates of the Carribean! :) What a classic. Then over to Tom Sawyer's island! What a random attraction. I've been over there before, but never walked around as much as we did. We saw the random guns in the fort, and went through the "escape tunnel" that's super dark and creepy!!

We went to Space Mountain and used our FastPasses, then went to the Hall of the Presidents, but just got a picture with Mickey there. Colonial Mickey!!

Next up, Splash Mountain! We managed to avoid getting soaked, but did get a little wet towards the end!! Then we rode Thunder Mountain railroad, which is definitely not one of my favorites, but is still a must-do!

We went over to the Haunted Mansion, and rode that. They are redoing the queue there, and it looks like it's going to be kinda cool! I wonder when it will open!

Next we went to Fantasyland and rode It's a Small World, and then ate dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus! :) We sat outside on the balcony overlooking Dumbo, the Carousel, and the castle.

After eating, we headed over to Main Street to get a spot for the parade! We watched the electrical parade, and then got a spot for the new... "The Magic, The Memories, and You" show... which is a show projected onto the castle! I must admit, I was a little skeptical, but it was pretty cool!!

We had a GREAT spot for that, and everyone in front of us stayed sitting, so we got to watched the whole thing sitting down. We stayed in place after that, and waited 5 minutes for Wishes to start!! :)

After the fireworks, we headed back to the hotel, went in the pool, took a shower, and now it's time for bed!!

Gonna get to sleep, and in the morning, off to Magic Kingdom again, and Epcot in the afternoon!

Goodnight. :)
