"jackpot party" or "weekend's over"

Hey Journal!

This morning, Dan and I got up at 9:00am!  Yeah, we really wanted to sleep later, but we also wanted to take advantage of the free breakfast at the hotel!

It was actually very nice, and very enjoyable.  I liked it a lot.  I had cereal, and a pancake which was made by a cool machine that had a little conveyor belt, and plopped my pancake onto a plate when it was done!

Dan had eggs, and some other items.  I give the free breakfast two thumbs up!

We went back to the room, and I was exhausted, so I put some Phineas and Ferb on the TV and watched, but I was dozing in an out through the show!

When we got up around 10:45, I took a shower, and then went to CVS while Dan took a shower.  I went to get him some gauze pads, bacitracin, and tape so we could wrap up his finger properly.  The lady at CVS had cotton hanging out of her nose.  Interesting.

When I got back, we wrapped up his finger really nicely, but it was still bleeding!  When he took the old gauze off, it was welling up with blood!  I also got him a splint thing because I figured that moving his finger was causing it to keep opening up and not letting it heal!

We left the hotel at 11:30, and as we were packing up our car, these people next to us had a luggage cart thing, and it got away from them, and the woman went running after it screaming.  It was funny. :)

So, we picked up Tim and Neil and went to breakfast at the Phoenix Diner.  It was a typical diner, but our waitress was wacky.  She was nutty and goofy, couldn't hear Tim (but only Tim), and almost knocked Dan's water off the table.

I got a waffle and eggs.

After that, we brought Tim to work, and then dropped Neil off at home.

We headed back to the Casinos, and did the free parking deal at the Trump Plaza again, and then walked around the boardwalk to some casinos.  At the Tropicana, we played 20 in our favorite machine, Jackpot Party!  We were doing alright for a while, but were never actually up at all.  We got the party ONCE, but pooped out pretty quickly. :(  We had a slow loss, but ultimately, all our money was gone.   We wound up losing $60 all together.  Eh.

We got back to the car around 3, and left for home!  About 30 minutes after we left, we encountered a Sonic, and had to stop for a Slush!  Mmmmm.  It was perfect!

I was tired, and fell asleep for a bit on the trip.  We got home around 6:30, and I took a shower.  Then I had some soup for dinner, and we watched this week's episode of the Shark Tank!  What a GREAT show!  :)  I recommend that everyone watch it.

Alas, it's time for bed now...a little early, but we're pretty exhausted! The weekend has flown by!  I guess it's better that we DID something this weekend, rather than sit at home... but... it's still sad that it's back to work tomorrow! Arrrr!
