"afterwards"

Hey Journal!

This morning, the traffic was really strange! I took me FOREVER to get to the Northern State! Traffic was backed up on 111 like crazy, so I took the back way to 347, and that's usually super fast, but today was horrible, too! (I guess some other people had the same brilliant idea!)

Then, as soon as I got on the Northern, there wasn't a single bit of traffic the rest of the way! It was smooth sailing!

Work was CRAZY BUSY again. I don't know whyyyyyy! It's outta control! I had a ton of member calls about their dues, I had a bunch of days to close from the restaurant and the golf shop, and I was working on a new postcard to mail out, and all kinds of stuff! I can't even remember it all now!

For lunch, I had the soup of the day, which was Beef and Rice. Mmmm. I was very very good, but a little salty. I needed to drink a bottle of water afterwards!

Speaking of "afterwards"..... EVERY time I write the word "afterwards" in my journal, which I apparently do quite often... It always comes up as being misspelled. I have always ignored it, and left it the way it was, but wondered why it wasn't really a word. I just got annoyed, and looked it up, and sure enough.. it IS a word. What the heck!? Why has it been trying to deceive me all these years. I do not appreciate that!

Alas, I left work at 5, got home, did some CPC work, and also worked some more on the postcards for the golf course. Rahhhhh!

I ate cereal for dinner, and just as I was finishing, I got a text from my cousin saying that he was in the area, and wanted to know if we wanted to go get pizza for with him. So, we got ready, and met up at Mannino's in Smithtown. He was on a break, and we got our pizza, sat there for a while and ate!

We got home around 7:30, watched World News, and then I took a shower.

Before bed, I found some time to watch a little more of Song of the South! I can't believe I still haven't finished watching it! I really wanna watch it, but every night is so busy. Grrr! I will finish it soon! If not this week, definitely on the weekend!

Now, it's time for bed!
