Hey Journal!

Gretings from Carlisle! We're back in England and we're up in Cumbria, just before the Scotland border!

This morning, we woke up in Aberystwyth, Wales, at 7:30, and took our showers, got dressed and headed downstairs for our Full English Breakfast! We sat by the window and looked out at the water as we ate, and then after breakfast, we went up to the room and packed, then hit the road.

We didn't know what we were going to do today, and we had considered going horseback riding. We called the place, but the phone died while Dan was asking them questions! Ugh! In the end, we decided just to start heading towards Bangor!

We got there around lunch time. We walked around the town, and ate at a place called Varsity. I got maccaroni and cheese. After lunch, we walked around the town some more, and then got back on the road heading to Carlisle!

Both drives today were soooo nice! The weather was great, and we passed so many fields with sheep and cows! There are sheep everywhere, and I love the signs along the road that have little pictures of them!

On the way, I managed to look up Bed & Breakfasts in Carlisle, and found the #1 B&B, a place called the Fox and Pheasant! We called, and they were available! Woo Hoo! We got here around 7:30. It's such a nice place, and they have a really nice restaurant downstairs where we ate dinner. I got the steak and ale pie, and it came with potatoes and vegetables. It was very good! Then after dinner, I came upstairs, and Dan wanted to take a walk around the town.

I have been exhausted the past few days, so I'm getting to bed a little earlier tonight. Our room is really really nice, so I figured I would spend some time here, and get cozy. I tried to do a Sudoku, but it was too hard, and now I'm wrapping up the night with some journaling, and then sleep! I want to be nice and wide awake for the rest of our trip, so I think it's a good idea to get a good night's sleep tonight!

I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow morning, but we will be heading to Edinburgh, Scotland at some point during the day!
