Hey Journal!

Greetings from Aberystwyth, Wales! It's been a crazy day, but we arrived here a little while ago!

We got up this morning at 8:30, took a shower, got our stuff together, and then left for the airport to pick up our rental car. The route with the least changes was from Canary Wharf, so we decided to walk to that station. As we left the hotel, a man asked us if we were going to the station, and told us he was a free shuttle!

What a pleasant surprise! We really saved some time with that one, and it sure beat lugging all of our stuff all the way there! We got in, put some more money on our Oyster cards, and then took the loooong ride to Heathrow.

We got there and waited forever to pick up the car, but finally, we were on the road! It was quite an experience, but it's been great so far!

Our first stop was Cardiff, the capital of Wales! The Welsh language is sooooo crazy! The way they spell stuff, and the way it sounds! It's so crazy! For example, Wales in Welsh is "Cymru" which is pronounced Cum-ruh. Their word for bus is bws!

All of the street signs and stuff are in both Welsh and English, too.

So, in Cardiff we walked around a little and went to a big mall. The mall was nice, and had a lot of stores! There were lots of good looking people there! :)

At the mall, we used the Apple Store Wifi to go online and look up a Bed and Breakfast to stay in tonight. We found the #1 Bed and Breakfast in Aberystwyth, as rated by tripadvisor, called The Shoreline. We called them, they had availability! Woo!

We weren't in Cardiff long, and then we hit the road! We made a stop in Bath and had lunch and walked around there as well.

Our next destination was Aberystwyth! It took about 3 hours to get there, and I fell asleep for some of the drive... I just couldn't keep my eyes open... I don't know why!

As we approached Aberystwyth, there were some really nice views of the water! It was such a nice drive, and it's light so late here! It was still light at 9:00, and the sun was just finishing setting at 10!! Insane! We need daylight like that at home!

We got here a little before 10:30 and located the B&B. We rang the bell, and the man answered the door, gave us a key to the room, and asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast!

So, we went up to the room which has a FANTASTIC view of the water, which I'm sure will be amazing in the morning when we can actually see it!

We decided to take a walk down to the town, and that was fun but it was FREEZING COLD! It was insanely windy, and that didn't make it any better!

We got some snacks, and then headed back.

Now we're just hanging out before bed... and I actually am going to get my contacts out, and get to sleep! I need a good night's rest for some fun times tomorrow! We may look into going horseback riding around here, and then we have to leave for a new destination which is currently unknown!

There's no wifi here, so I will have to save this update for posting later!!
