"a new dvr"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up and headed off to work. Re came in for the day today, and she got a lot accomplished. Closing days, getting all the bank stuff together! She's really going to be missed when school starts again! And it's going to be soon! :(

We went to lunch at 1:00, and on the way we dropped off a package for Jackie at FedEx. We picked up Dan, and went to Panera in Huntington. It was pretty crowded there today!

When we got back, a new DVR had been delivered for me. I bought it from Amazon to replace our old one which had died last week! This new one is pretty nice! It was a great price, and you can even watch the cameras on your iPhone! Woo! Fancy!

So, I set that up, and then had a bunch of random things to do before the end of the day! I was trying to clean off my desk and leave for the weekend with everything organized... but that didn't happen! :(

Re left around 4:15, and I headed out at 5.

We were supposed to go to dinner with Julio to Smokin Al's, but he canceled on us at the last minute. We went with Liz, and we went to the one in Massapequa to avoid smelling like BBQ! While we were eating, a torrential rain storm crept up, and there was lots of thunder and lightning!

Dinner was good, and after that we made our way to the car, trying our best not to get wet!

We got home around 10:30, and I am sooo exhausted from the long week of work! I am sooo ready for a nice, relaxing weekend! :)
