"the professor"

Hey Journal!

This morning, we got up around 10:30 and were pretty hungry for breakfast. We couldn't decide on a place to go, so we wound up hanging around at home for a while, and then we finalle went out in seach of food. Since we still didn't have a destination picked out, we just headed west, and we stopped by Dan's parents' house.

Dan's mom suggested that we go to a place in Kings Park called Professor's Diner. We had never heard of it before, but she said she had been there a few times, and thought we would like it. So, we figured we'd give it a try!

It's quite the wild little place. It's in the shopping center just off of Main Street, and it's definitely a different atmosphere! It's absolutely wild inside, and the people that work there are crazzzzy! All in a good way, though. We really enjoyed the food, and the prices are very reasonable. They're comparable to any diner, and I think if you're going to spend the same amount of money, this is the place to go! The people who work there, specifically the owner, are wild! It's like getting entertainment with your meal!

I'm glad we tried something new, and I'm sure we'll be back there in the future!

After that, we decided to take a little walk, and went over by the train tracks, went over the overpass, and down the other side. We took a stroll down Main Street, and then back.

When we got home, Dan watched a football game, and I did some random stuff on the computer. I had a lot of pictures to get off my camera, and to get organized on the computer.

At about 5:30, we went out to the mall to take a walk around. We made one lap, and all of the stores were closing, so then we went to Loews to look for a radiator cover, and then to look at blinds. We need new ones for the bathroom, but unfortunately we didn't measure the window yet, so we don't know quite what we need!

Then we went to Target and stocked up on some foods we needed. Unfortunately, we couldn't buy any milk because all of the milk they had there expired two days prior. I'm pretty sure they shouldn't have been selling it past the "Sell By" date. Perhaps they should assign someone to look into that.

We got home, and I took a shower, and then we watched last night's episode of Dr. Who! I LOVE getting BBC America now! It's amazing!

We also watched a little bit of the Emmy's, but I have to say that they were completely boring, and not only that, but the guy who said a little bit about each person who came up to accept an award.... he said all these weird cheezy things that weren't even funny!

Now, I'm just getting ready for bed. I'm very excited that I have only three days of work this week, and then Dan and I are off to Vegas and to the GRAND CANYON! WILD!! :P

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
