"hangin by the pool" or "walking around the strip"

Hey Journal!

This morning, we got up around 10:00, and our first order of business was to check out the pool! We headed down there and went in the pool for a while, and then after we got out, we sat outside for a while, and I read some more of my Chris Moyles book. There was also a very good looking lifeguard there! :P

After the pool, we came back to the room, got showered up, and then went out in search of lunch! We went by the place where Dan's conference is, and he picked up his ID tag thing, and then we continued walking and We wound up eating at the Grand Luxe Cafe which was in the Venetian.

I got the Chicken Parmesan, and it was pretty good, but really parmesany!

Our waiter was sooo strange! He was nice, but he messed everything up. I asked for water with no lemon, and I got lemon. Dan ordered Chicken Burritos, and he came back to clarify if Dan wanted Chicken or Beef. Dan said chicken AGAIN, but he got beef. He was a very strange guy! :P

We walked all the way down the strip, stopping at casinos along the way, and gambling a little. At Harrah's, Dan played Let It Ride, and unfortuantely didn't win anything. Then we made out way to MGM and looked at the lions, and then went to Fat Tuesday to get some drinks!!

I got a very large frozen margarita, and it was AMAZING. We made our way across the street, and then up from New York New York to the Bellagio. We checked out the "garden" display there, and then we went outside to watch the fountain show. It was pretty cool, but It was late, which was annoying! lol

We came back to our Hotel, and then we went in the pool again. The pool closed at 7, so we headed back up to the room, took another shower, and then got ready for dinner.

Last night, there was a blinking red light on our phone, and it was so annoying! We were trying to sleep, and it was so bright and distracting. So, before we left for dinner, I wanted to try to get it to stop. It was the "message waiting" light, and I kept calling the voicemail, and it said we had no messages! So weird. Finally, Dan called the front desk to see why the light wouldn't go off, and they explained that we actually had a TEXT MESSAGE waiting for us! Now, how anyone would know that... makes no sense. Anyway, the text message said that we had been given a $100 voucher to use on anything at the Wynn! Oooo! So, we decided to go to dinner to a restaurant in the hotel, and use our credits there!

We went to a place called Society. There was a really weird guy who worked there, he came around and filled up our waters, and brought some stuff to the table. Every time he spoke, you couldn't understand a WORD he said. It was so bad! We were so confused!

Anyway, dinner was good, I got the Filet Mignon, and it came on some weird thing call a "bacon cake" which I did not partake of.

After dinner, we went to Treasure Island to watch the little show they put on out there. It was kinda weird... it wasn't what I was expecting at all. I like while the pirate ship sinks, but other than that, it was strange!

We came back to our hotel after that, and we were pretty exhausted! Now we're just watching some TV and gonna get to bed soon.

Dan is going to be working all day tomorrow, so I plan to go check out the pool and hang out!
