"happy birthday, re"

Hey Journal!

Today, Dan and I woke up extremely late! I woke up for the first time, and rolled over to look at the clock! I couldn't BELIEVE it! It was 1:10!! Ugh! I felt like so much of the day had been wasted! But at the same time, we did stay up late and have a good time last night... but still.. it was crazy!

We got out of bed and got ready to go out fairly quickly. We went to get bagels, and then went over to pick up my new pants from my mom. She brought them to the tailor to be shortened a little bit, and they were ready.

Then, Dan and I went over to the mall, walked around... and actually stumbled upon a board game that Jen B had wanted! I texted her, and she asked us to pick it up. Then, we went to Pier 1 to get a gift card for Re's birthday, and then to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to purchase a new squeegee for our shower! :P

We came home after that, and we got ready to go out to Re's for her birthday celebration! I took a shower, and and then we left here around 5:20. We were supposed to arrive at her place around 5:30, but wound up being slightly later than that. We stopped at CVS on the way, and we got there around 5:50. We saw Mamamc pulling up in the parking lot at the same time!

We hung out and had a good time. Jen B was there, and Sabrina, and many other family members. We hung out, and then Re ordered pizza, and we all ate dinner. The ziti was really good, and I also had a couple of slices of pizza! I was so full afterwards, I couldn't move! I had to lay down on the floor! It was ridiculous! :P

Lau arrived shortly after we finished eating. I slowly recovered and then I conversed with Re's dad for a while, and then a little bit later Kristen brought out the birthday cupcakes and presented them to herself while we sang!

A while after that, all of the fam left, and it was just me, Dan, Re, Jen B, and Lau. We learned how to do some magic tricks while watching some "free on demand" shows, and then we played Jen B's new Loaded Questions game.

After the game, we started flipping through the channels, and then Re put on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! How I love that movie! We watched the whole thing!

We had a really fun night! I can't believe Re is 28! Insane! I can't believe I'M 28! Ahhhh! Wild!!

Anyway, we got home a little after 2:30am, and I wasn't really that tired because of how late we had slept!

Now it's off to bed, and I plan to get up at a reasonable time so I don't screw up my sleep another night!
