"number five...is alive!"

Hey Journal!

This morning, we got up at about 8:00 and I took a shower and got ready for breakfast. I got dressed and ready to go, and we left the room at about 9:15. I was happy we got a little bit of a later start than we planned because I got to watch the beginning on Live! With Kelly! The first episode without Regis! Insane! I thought it went well, and wasn't really that much of a shock... considering Regis took so many days off that having a guest co-host isn't really anything unusual.

The weird part was that Kelly say on Regis's side of the desk, and I am completely against there. It's not like being on that side MEANS that you are the head of the show. I think she needs to move back to her side. That's really an unnecessary change!

Anyway, we headed off to breakfast and ate. After breakfast, we went to play "You Bet Your Wits!" It was a fun game. We got off to a rough start... we lost a lot of points, and weren't doing to well.. but then we managed to catch back up, and on the final question we bet all of our points and came in FIRST PLACE! Woo Hoo!

We had the choice of a gold medal or a coffee mug, so Dan and I got one of each. The gold medal is great... and the coffee mug is pretty nice, too! Way to go, team!!

After the game, we took the bus to the Go Karts, and while we were waiting for them, I was playing the ring toss game, and I GOT THE RING ON THE HOOK! I was amazed! :) We rode the Go Karts, and then we went on a little bike ride around the trail in the woods. It was actually pretty warm out this afternoon, and the bike ride was really fun!

Then, we took the shuttle bus back to the main lodge for lunch! Lunch was a little soon after breakfast, so we weren't super hungry... but it was good. I got a hamburger.

After lunch, we went to the Scatergories game, and we didn't win that game. Connor was getting a little restless, and he was playing his DS with the volume up, which was causing a stir. Towards the end he was getting frustrated that he couldn't beat something in the game, and was getting upset.

Next we came back to the rooms for a little bit, and then went out to the lake and took paddle boats out!

We paddled to the middle of the lake, and it was fun! That is, it was fun until my finger got injured. I was using the steering mechanism on the paddle boat, and when I turned all the way to the left, it whipped back really fast, and pinned my finger against the boat. It HURT like crazy! It was unbelievable. I thought it was either going to bleed like crazy, OR was going to be badly bruised. It did get a little better by the time we got back to the dock, and then I put some ice on it. It is much better now, but still hurts a little. :(

When we got back from that, we went to our rooms and got ready to go to the pool! We headed over to the bus, and off to the pool!

The pool was fun, we went in there for a while, and the jacuzzi was amazing. I couldn't stay in there too long cause it was too hot, but it was great. We had fun, and before we left, we went in the racquetball court for a few minutes.

We took the bus back, and then got in the shower and got ready for dinner. We watched some of World News while we got ready, and then we headed down to dinner.

Today was the Thanksgiving Feast, and the meal was very very good. The turkey was great, and the soup was amazing. It was chicken and rice, and I had my bowl AND Connor's bowl!

Immediately after dinner, we went to the horse racing game! Before it started, Connor had a moment of temporary craziness, and so Linda had to take him back to the room for time out. The horse races were really wild! The guy who runs it was really good. "Number FIVE...is ALIVEEEE!!" He was wild.

We won some money betting on the horses, but nothing crazy! lol They had popcorn out on the tables.. and it was so the bagged popcorn, but it was perfect for the occasion! :P Good times!!

After horse racing, we went down to the game room, and Connor played some Wii games, and we hung out on the couch and talked. Then we decided to call it a night! It was still pretty early, but we were all exhausted from all of the craziness today! We had a busy day!

So, we headed back to our rooms, and now it's time to get to sleep!!! We're watching the news, and I have to go put my pajamas on, and then BED!

Breakfast at 9am, again!
