"last day at woodloch"

Hey Journal!

This morning we got up at 8:30, and I was sooo exhausted! I just wanted a few minutes more of sleep... but we had to get up and get ready so we could make it to breakfast!! I was super super hungry because we went to bed a little later last night, and it had been a while since dinner.

We got a slow start, and weren't ready to go down to breakfast until about 9:25, which was just before the cutoff of 9:30! Breakfast was good, I got a waffle and eggs.

After we ate, we headed back to the rooms to pack up! Dan and I got our stuff ready, and Linda took a little while longer. She had a TON of things to pack up! In the meantime, Dan gave Connor and Cameron a ride down the hallways on the luggage cart! They just kept going back and forth and spinning around! It was crazy! Before we left, we pulled out the pullout bed in the couch, and Connor went underneath the bed, and inside the couch for a while. It was very funny.

We made our way out of the room, checked out, and then loaded up the car. Dan and I had to make stop at the pool because Dan had left his jacket there the other day. So, we went to the pool, and then met everyone over at "The Inn at Woodloch" to go peruse the shop there. We bought a loaf of some kind of bread to bring over for Thanksgiving tomorrow, and then we hit the road!

We were hoping that we wouldn't hit any bad traffic, especially near the city. We did a really good job avoiding any potential traffic spots. I kept checking on my phone, and we took the Palisades Parkway to the Tappan Zee bridge, instead of taking Route 17 to the George Washington Bridge, because the traffic was red approaching the GWB. Then, once we approaching the Throgs Neck, we took the Hutchinson River Parkway instead of the Cross Bronx because there was a lot of traffic approaching the bridge that we were able to avoid by going farther east.

We got home around 3:30, and we had left around 12:15, so it wasn't bad at all! When we got home, I was exhausted from the whole trip, and the last few days, so I took a shower, and then watched some TV, and just hung out and relaxed.

Dan and I watched some weird show that we had recorded about weird Hollywood mysteries, and then I went through all of the pictures we had taken and posted them online!

Dan took a little nap, and then when he woke up, we went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. When we left the house, I had planned on getting the Chicken Parmesan, but unfortunately I totally forgot about that when we arrived, and ordered my usual Top Sirloin! They were also out of baked potatoes, so I had to get fries instead. Sadness.

After we ate, we went to Dan's parents house to say Hi. Dan's dad told us all about his car accident, and then we looked at pictures that his automatic deer camera had captured. There were lots of random pictures of deers walking by at night!

Then we headed home and watched tonight's episode of The Middle. Now it's time for bed! I can't believe we're still up this late! I'm exhausted!

Thanksgiving tomorrow!! We're gonna record the parade so that we can watched when we wake up! :)

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
