"christmas day - observed" or "mall madness"

Hey Journal!

Today was kinda of a dull day, so forgive me for not going into to much detail. We got up around 10:00, and we watched some TV. It was a nice day to hang around the house and relax.

In the afternoon, we wanted to get out of the house, so we took a trip to the mall. Really, I think that�s all we do... walk around the mall every single day! The mall was a MADHOUSE today! There wasn�t a single spot to be found in the parking lot, and there were tons of people driving around looking!

We parked across the street in bank parking lot, which was pretty much empty, and then walked across to Sears. The mall was packed, and I can�t imagine why anyone who had a gift card to spend, or who wanted to return a gift, wouldn�t just WAIT to do it. Why must it have been done today?? It makes no sense! We just wanted to go and see the madness, and people watch as we walked around... so it worked out well for us.

Anyway, after making a lap around the mall, I started to feel a little sick-ish. We came home, and I rested on the couch, and then had some soup. We watched the news, and I was not in the mood to really play Jeopardy tonight.

I am trying to get to bed at a reasonable time tonight so I feel better for work tomorrow!
