"monster golf" or "naked wings"

Hey Journal!

This morning, I woke up at about 11:30 and watched some TV. There wasn't really anything on, but I watched the weird public interest shows on channel 7, and then a couple of episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark on the Tivo!

We finally got out of the house at about 12:30 and went to get some bagels for breakfast at Brendel's. We ate there, and I got my little sausage and egg platter with a hot chocolate! It was most enjoyable.

Then we went to Sunrise so Dan could pay a visit to his Dziadzi, and then we came home to get ready to go mini golfing with Linda, Dan, Connor, and Cameron! We arrived before they did, so Dan and I walked around the outlets, and I got a shirt for work at Old Navy.

Then we headed over, and met them in the parking lot of Monster Mini Golf! We had to wait about 10 minutes because it was pretty busy today! They had a ton of birthday parties going on! At first Connor was a little scared of it, but he got over it pretty quickly. It is pretty dark and scary for a kid!

We decided early on not to try to keep score... It was a little bit of a free for all! Sadly, one of the big monsters had a problem with his horn! It was falling off! They'd better fix that! Anyway, we had a fun time!

After golf, we hung around in the game section, and then went to get dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings! On the way there, Connor rode with us, and Dan brought out the "Woodloch Troll" voice, and Connor told him to stop. Dan asked why, and he said it was because "it's annoying. It makes me run and trip!" He was not having any of it!

Then at dinner, we did "cheers" and I hit my cup into Connor's, and he said "HEY! I DIDN'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE!" I apologized, and "took it back." For dinner, I got the "Naked Wings" which Connor thought was hysterical!

They have a cool trivia game in the restaurant that plays on a bunch of big TVs, and you can either play with your iPhone, or with a special device they give you at the restaurant. We used Linda's phone, and our team name was ^concam! (No, we have no idea where the ^ came from.) We came in FIRST PLACE twice! Woo Hoo! We were unstoppable!

After dinner, we parted way, and Dan and I headed over to get something from my mom. She said she had a special Valentine's treat for us... Cupcakes! So we went over and collected our gift, and then went to drop off Dan's car at the Toyota place. He needs to have his breaks checked... they're making weird squeaking bubbly noises! It's very strange!

We got home and watched some of the Grammy's, and then tonight's Desperate Housewives! We'll have to watch PanAm tomorrow!

Now, it's time for bed! Back to work tomorrow! Can't believe the weekend flew by so fast!
