"hanging with connor, cameron, and linda"

Hey Journal!

What an exhausting day we had today! This morning, we woke up around 10:00. We watched last night's episode of Shark Tank with Julio. I was really happy to see that Barbara would be returning next week! Barbara is my favorite Shark!

We headed out around 11 and went for breakfast at Brendel's. I got my usual bagel, eggs, and sausage. It was pretty good! After we ate, we had to sing back home because I wanted to bring the Maple Syrup we had purchased in Canada for Linda and Dan!

Then we brought Julio to his mom's house and dropped him off! From there, we went to Linda's! I presented her with her Maple Syrup... I am now very curious to hear if they can taste the difference of genuine Canadian maple syrup!

We hung around at their house for a little while, and then we went out for a day of shopping/errands. Our first stop was Target, and then our second stop was for pizza! We got a whole pie and split it. It was more than enough. Then we went over to Party City! What a wild place... they had this crazy Hawaiian-ish mannequin and it had a grass skirt on.... Connor went over to it and pulled the skirt back so you could see her butt! It was hysterical! Then Dan found out that the woman had CRAZY boobs, too! We got some good pictures!

Before leaving that shopping center, we went to Tropical Smoothie, and then we went to another Target. Linda was looking for a new stroller, and she found one at the other Target, but it wasn't in stock, so we went to see if it was at the Target in Westbury. Sure enough, it was in stock! The lines were CRAZY long at the check out lanes, so they told us to go over to the jewelery counter. Linda wanted to sign up for a Red Card to get 5% off, and after going though the entire process, she was denied because they were having a printer problem! Ridiculous! However, they gave her a $3 off coupon for the trouble, and it worked out well because that was a much larger percentage than she would have gotten with the Red Card anyway! Nice!

We continued our day of shopping by going to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, where Linda bought placemats and a chocolate melting pot!

Next, we went to Roosevelt Field and wandered around there, and went to some stores. We made a stop for Connor to get a hot dog from Johnny Rockets, and then we checked out the "new" JC Penney.

On the way into the store, Linda set off the alarm... and so we tried to figure out what she might have that was causing the problem! We narrowed it down to an Orange, but seeing as that made no sense, we retried some of the other items, and it turns out it was some CDs she had in her bag!

It was a fun and wild day! We got back to Linda's around 9, and Dan and I said goodbye and headed home. We were pretty exhausted since we really hadn't had a restful minute yes this weekend, so we decided to have a relaxing night at home.

When we got back, The Devil Wears Prada was on ABC, so I decided to watch that. I watched the beginning, then took a shower, and then watched the end! It was a good movie, I remember seeing it in the theater when it first came out.

Now it's time for sleep!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
