"pan-ka-kas" or "amanda's birthday dinner"

Hey Journal!

This morning we woke up a little after 9, and I called my mom to see what time we should come over for breakfast. She was having a special St. Patrick's Day breakfast, and invites us and the triplets over.

We got there around 9:45, and the triplets had already eaten, and decided they wanted to serve us breakfast! They made menus, and took our orders, got us drinks, and then brought our food! They were a little intense as waiters, but to be honest, they were really good! The were very attentive, and did a great job!

The "special" on the menu was the "Pan-ka-kas," however, noone ordered them.

We hung out there for a little while after our breakfast, and then headed out to the mall. We took a walk around, and then we came home. We just ran in quickly, and then went over to Dan's parents' house. They were finishing up some yard work and getting ready to go golfing in the afternoon.

We left there, and headed off to Target. We had a couple of things to return, and while we were there, we noticed that the shower head I bought the other day was now on Sale! Woo! We got an adjustment, and got $3.25 back!

We also purchased this tension rod thing that has little shelves for the shower, and when we got home, we set it up. It's actually pretty neat, and serves its purpose since we need a place to keep the soap, but it looks a little strange. It just looks a little out of place when you walk in! We may have to return it.

Anyway, I had a pot pie to hold me over till dinner, and then watched Phineas and Ferb! I got the pictures off my camera, and then got ready to go out to dinner for Amanda's Birthday!

We met at Gasho, and Re was there when we arrived. Allie arrived a second later, and we went inside to wait for the rest of the group. Jen B and Amanda came next, and Robby shortly after!

Dinner was good, I got the hibachi steak, and it was enjoyable. We had a bit of a dud of a waiter though... he didn't do any fun stuff. They also forgot to bring us our tea at the end of the meal, AND they didn't even sing to Amanda. Even though the food is always good, I like Gasho less and less every time we go there. I think next time I want to go back to that place in St. James that we went to with Kristen and Don. The atmosphere isn't as "Japanese" as this is, but I think it's a better experience!

After dinner, we headed home and I took a shower, and then got ready for our Sunday night TV shows! We watched Once Upon a Time, and then Desperate Housewives! I can't believe there are just a handful of new episodes before DH is over forever! Once Upon a Time was good, too, but I STILL want to know what the Queen did to Snow White that "ruined her life."

Anyway, now it's time for bed!

Back to work tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
