"a sleeve of saltines"

Hey Journal!

For a Monday, today was pretty nice.

Unfortunately, it didn't start out that way in the very beginning! When he got into bed last night, it was really warm in the bedroom, and over the night, I was hot and sweaty, and very uncomfortable! Ugh! It was gross. I finally got up and got a lighter blanket, but it was still hot.

After getting out of bed, however, there was nothing to complain about.

I headed off to work, and was the only one there for the first 2 hours. Then Dan's dad and Steve arrived, and it was a pretty quiet day, except for some discussions about what's going to happen tomorrow when they meet with the chef!

I had a lot of bank stuff to do today, and I was busy, but not overwhelmed!

I had cereal for breakfast... I brought my Oh!s, and because we were closed, I didn't have anything for lunch.

I left work at 4:45, and stopped to get gas on my way home. I got home around 5:30 and watched the news. For dinner, I had some soup that I had bought last night, and I was REALLY in the mood to put crushed Saltines in it. I wound up putting more than half a sleeve of crackers in it when I was done! (See.... that's why those little 2-cracker packages at restaurants just won't do!)

Throughout the night, I ate almost the rest of the sleeve, too. I really do like saltines.

We watched World News, and then played Jeopardy! I won tonight. Wooo! I got final Jeops. Neon was the answer. Come to think of it...in life, Neon is always the answer.

After that, I did some stuff online, and then took a shower.

Now it's time for bed. We put the air conditioner on for the first time this year. I don't know if it's really necessary tonight, but after waking up with my shirt all wet last night from sweat, I am not interested in a repeat!

Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day, no doubt. Steve and Pete are going to let the chef go tomorrow, and I'm sure that's not going to go over well. Yikes!
