"slow saturday"

Hey Journal!

This morning, we got up around 10:30 and there was nothing at all on TV to watch. We decided to go out to see Norman Vincent at the bagel place for breakfast.

When we got there, he was just starting his break, and he was on break the entire time we ate. I decided he's been a little bit of a diva lately, because he always takes such LONG breaks! I think it would be better if he took like 5 minute breaks, but took them more often!

It's just annoying to go there specifically to hear him play, and then have him take a break the entire time you're there... and it's a bagel place.. you can't stay there all morning!! This has happened a couple of times, and it's just kinda annoying!!

On the way home, we stopped at this little art show thing in Setauket that Dan's mom was also going to. We met her there and said Hi, and then perused the goods. It was pretty crappy... there wasn't anything good at all! What a let down.

Next we went to the mall and took a walk around there, and then we went over to say hi to my mom. Dan wanted to hang out there for a little while, so we did, and then when we got home, we watched a movie called Coma on A&E. It was about some hospital that was doing some unethical things to their patients, and how a girl uncovered it... but it made no sense, and the end of the movie was just about as confusing as could be!

After the movie, we went to get dinner at Boston Market and used out Buy One Get One coupons for the new "market bowls." They're basically like the individual meals with boneless meat and the two sides in the same bowl as the chicken.

They were good, and not bad to get two for $8.99! (You had to buy 1 drink to get the special.)

We went over to Target after we ate, and then stopped at ShopRite on the way home. Dan got some ice cream to make milkshakes, and then we checked out the RedBox because we thought we might rent "Lucky Ones," but it wasn't in stock, so we just came home.

We were going to go to Miller's Ale House with Jerry tonight, but they didn't go until about 10:30, and we had wanted to get to bed relatively early tonight because we're going to Connor's football game early tomorrow morning!

When we got home, Dan realized that Doctor Who was on tonight, so we watched that instead! It was a good episode, but not as good as in the past... so I'm hoping the season really picks up soon!

Anyway, bedtime now! All in all, it was a pretty slow day, nothing too eventful going on... but I have to say that this is the first Saturday like this in a LONG time! The whole summer, basically... and I've been needing a relaxing day like this! The only sad part is that means the summer fun is over, and it's the start of fall activities!
