"fight the fee"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up at the usual time and headed off to work. The morning went by kinda slowly.

Re came in around 12 and there was lots of work for her to do. She had bills to pay and lots of days to close because she only came in one day last week since the 4th of July was on Thursday.

We sent out an e-mail to the members to let them know about a special dinner that we're having in the restaurant this Saturday night. Jackie wasn't getting a great turnout, so she figured an e-mail might boost the numbers. Unfortunately, instead of boosting them, three people called to CANCEL their reservations and we lost about 8 people total! Geez!

It was a pretty quiet day for the rest of the day in the office. Dan's dad and Bill went out to play golf around 2:00, so the rest of the day was just me and Re. For lunch, we had some chicken, and it was really good. Not at all dry and it had a nice flavor!

At 4:15, we left work and I had to drop off some stuff at FedEx and do some CPC stuff before heading home. On the way, I stopped at Hess to get some gas.

When Dan got home, we went to the gym.

Gym Report:
1 mile on the Treadmill in 14mins
1 mile on the Treadmill in 13mins
2 miles on the EBike in 8mins
50 Crunches at 50lbs

We got home and I took a shower and then we went to Verizon because Dan wanted to look into getting a new phone. He's had the same one for about 2.5 years now and figured it was time to look into getting a new one. Unfortunately, they have completely done away with all of the reasons to get a new phone. First, they don't do the "new every two" anymore, and then on top of that... they want to charge a $30 "upgrade fee" which makes no sense because they're locking you into a new two year contract! What a farse.

So, we left Verizon and headed home.

We watched last night's Teen Wolf and while I love the show, I thought the episode was completely random and weird. I have no idea how this episode fits in with the rest of the show! I don't really understand why, just because the coach's whistle had stuff in it, they all wanted to kill themselves, AND that doesn't explain why 198 people already had killed themselves or how the number got changed to 201 before anything had even happened! PLUS -- Scott, Isaac, Boyd, and the new one, Ethan... are FOUR werewolves... so why only three? I'm so confused! Oh, and big revelation that old gramps is still alive and hanging out in some room with black stuff coming out of his nose. Nice.

Anyway, now it's time for bed!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
