"fencing" or "cartwheel for all"

Hey Journal!

Today was a really nice day out and I got to spend a little time outside at work today, so that was pretty good.

Re was planning to come in to work today but I heard late last night that her Grandma had died, so I wasn't really expecting that she would be in. However, at about 9:30 I saw her coming down the hallway!

There were a couple of days to close, and lots of bills to be paid, so it worked out well.

Dan's dad and I booked hotels for September when we got to Dan's cousin's wedding in Virginia. She had given us a link for a special block of reserved rooms and a special "group rate." The group rate was $99 per room per night. Just for the heck of it, I searched the same type of room on the hotel's website and it was only $92 a night! Not a HUGE difference, but really? I love that the group rate makes the price HIGHER than anyone else looking to book a room. We went with the cheaper one.

Later in the afternoon, I had to go out with a guy from a fence company to show him areas of the perimeter fence that had been damaged last year during the hurricane. We're going to have them repaired finally, and he needed to see and take measurements of what he would be replacing.

Dan's dad left early today so it was pretty quiet in the afternoon. I had pasta with grilled chicken on top for lunch.

Late in the day, we got word that Steve will be coming back TOMORROW instead of on August 12th. His boat is being sold and he needs to do stuff related to that. We don't know if he's going away again after it's over with.

Meanwhile, Dan's dad will be out tomorrow and Monday.

I left work at 5 and headed home. I watched some of the news and got ready for the gym.

Gym Report:
50 Crunches at 50lbs
1 mile on the Treadmill in 15mins
1 mile on the Treadmill in 17mins
2 miles on the EBike in 8mins

We came home and took our showers and then we went out to Target. Tonight we needed to buy a TON of food. We had almost nothing left, and we hadn't been to Target in a while. We also went on a Cartwheel spree! We had SO MANY Cartwheel deals, we probably saved over $5 with it tonight! Intense!

I really do love Cartwheel! It's so satisfying!

When we got home we watch last night's episode of The Lookout and I had a Hot Pocket. You know this is the first time I've ever had a Hot Pocket. Werid!

So now it's time for bed! So happy tomorrow is Friday. Lau's birthday party in the evening!
