Hey Journal!

This morning I got up a little before 10 and Dan and I hung out and watched some TV. We watched some episodes of Boy Meets World and then I looked up info on the new Girl Meets World show that's supposed to be coming out next year! It's going to be on the Disney Channel and Cory, Topanga, Mr. Feeney, Sean, and Eric are all going to be characters in it! I'm so excited.

After that, we headed to the gym!

Gym Report:
50 Crunches at 50lbs
1 mile on the Treadmill in 13mins
1 mile on the Treadmill in 15mins
2 miles on the EBike in 10mins

When we got home from the gym we got showered up and ready to see Bill Cosby!!

Before we left, Dan made us some PB&J sandwiches to hold us over for the ride.

At 3:00, Jen B arrived and Re got here a few minutes later. We got in the car, and hit the road for White Plains!

We made excellent time and there was no traffic at all! We get there around 4:30 and drove around the city. We decided to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, but before that, we went to a place called "The Container Store!" The store sold... containers... among other things, but it was really overpriced!

At about 5:30, we went to Cheesecake and had dinner. I got the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce and forced myself to eat the whole thing because I wasn't comfortable leaving my leftovers in the car all evening without being refrigerated!

When we were done, Dan went to get the car out of the parking garage. He hurried there so we wouldn't be subject to paying extra since we were pretty close to the next tier! Then we hopped in and we headed to the Westchester Community Center!

Parking was a little tricky there, too. The lots in front of the center were reserved for people who had purchased VIP tickets, and we wound up in a little lit very close by that had parking meters! We didn't know how long we would be inside, and we also didn't know if we had quarters! Luckily, Re had a bunch of quarters and we put in enough for 4 hours worth of parking. At 7:00, we left the car and walked across the street.

The theater was very interesting. It was different than I had expected... it was basically like a big school gym/auditorium combined. It smelled very much like a school, also! We made our way upstairs to the balcony and found our seats! They were pretty good seats... we had a good view, and I was happy we weren't on the floor in the folding chairs because I think it would have been harder to see from there.

The stage was set with a rug, a table, and a folding chair. At about 7:30, they announced that we would be starting in just 5 or 10 minutes.

Bill Cosby came out and everyone was excited! He basically sat in the chair and talked for about 2.5 hours. I really enjoyed him, and there were a lot of funny moments! A couple of his stories went on a little longer than I think was necessary, and I was starting to yawn during them! I also think he should interject some personal stories about his life, maybe tell some funny stories of his time on the Cosby Show, tell a funny story about his Jell-o Pudding commercials, and talk more personally about what his life is like now, and what he's up to. I'm sure he could be informative about his life and also make it funny!

It was definitely cool though, and I am happy that I can say I saw him in person! It was definitely worth the trip to White Plains!

When it was over, we walked back to the car and still had another hour on the parking meter. We drove to a Dunkin Donuts / Baskin Robbins nearby and we got some ice cream! I thought it was a really nice treat.

Then we hit the road and headed home. We took the Whitestone Bridge because the Throgs Neck had construction on the Southbound side and on the way up, it was barely moving, and on the way down the map said traffic was moving at less than 6mph over the bridge! Luckily, we avoided it all!

We made good time and got home around 11:30. Now we're just watching TV and gonna get to bed soon!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
