"relaxing by the pool" and "flight home"

Hey Journal!

Well, here we are back at home after a great week of vacation in Disney World! We had a great time, and now that we're home... I'm really glad to have tomorrow and MOnday off from work to relax and get back into the swing of being home!

This morning we woke up at 9:00 and headed off for our last breakfast at Cocnino Cove. I had my usual...Corn Flakes and orange juice. I also took a chocolate milk to go!

After that, we headed back to our room and finished packing up our things. We got everything together and brought it to the luggage service area. We checked our big bag for the flight and then left our backpack and bag at the baggage check.

We headed over to the pool and first we went in the hot tub. We switched over to the regular pool after a while, and it was nice to spend the day just enjoying the hotel and stuff. We walked over to one of the other pools, checked it out, went in for a bit, and then headed back over to the main pool area.

Frank and Seth came to say goodbye to us and they hung out for about an hour or so. We sat at one of the picnic tables by the hot tub.

At about 1:45, they left, and Dan and I headed to the restaurant to get some lunch. I didn't get anything, though, and just ate one of the Chunky Soups that I had brought with me. Dan got a quesadilla. When he went to pay for it, they said they didn't have any magic band readers, and because we were in our bathing suits... he didn't have any credit cards either! So.... we didn't get charged for it! Interesting!

After we ate, we went over to the gym area and took a shower there since our room was no longer available to us. We got showered and changed there, and then we headed over to the Magical Express pickup area.

Our designated pickup time was 3:45, but we took the 3:15 bus.

We got to the airport pretty early, and we weren't in any rush, of course. We went through security and then we waited! Our flight wasn't until 6:55, but we started boarding around 6:25.

Dan's back started to bother him this morning and he said it was hurting really really badly. He couldn't carry any of the luggage, so I was dragging it behind me though the airport! It must have been a good scene.

The plane took off a little after 6:55, and we landed exactly at 9:30. The flight was good, a little bumpy at times, but nothing too crazy. They ran out of ginger ale before they got to our seats which was annoying, and they also don't give any snack... like pretzels. How annoying. I'm sick of AA. They have no snacks, charge for bags, and you have to fly from JFK. I'm done. It's MacArthur and Southwest for me from now on!

After we landed, we had to walk about 3 miles through the airport to get to the baggage claim! We went up an escalator, walked, down and escalator, walked, up an escalator, walked, and then down an escalator, and WALKED AGAIN! It was absurd! Then, the bags came one at a time sooooo slowly down to the carousel... it was pathetic.

Dan's mom picked us up and we made good time getting home. We stopped at Wendy's to get a little food, and now here we are!

We watched The Middle and last Sunday's Once Upon a Time! We're all caught up and ready for tomorrow's episode! I love this show!
