"the fam party"

Hey Journal!

This morning we got up around 10:00 and got ready for the family party! We got dressed and ready and I had a few things to get together to bring over. We brought some of our decorations, the blender, and our AppleTV. We brought the AppleTV because we wanted to show some old videos of my 3rd, 5th, and 6th birthdays!

Dan and I got there around 12:15 and helped set up the finishing touches for the party. We got a call from Aunt Maureen shortly before 1 telling us that she, David, and Stephen were on their way but their car broke down by the Whitestone Bridge! They were waiting for a tow truck, and weren't going to be able to make it! :(

We started watching the old videos, and then Dan, Jackie, and the baby arrived. Shortly after, Aunt Regina and Uncle Charlie came, followed by the triplets and Aunt Janice.

It was a really fun party... we just hung out, everyone had a fun time. We made strawberry daiquiris and they came out really good!

At about 2:30, the food arrived. We got it from Buona Sera in Smithtown. They delivered it, and it also came with free garlic knots! The food was actually amazing! We had chicken parmesan and penne ala vodka! Of course, what party would be complete without some PFR from Dragon!

I ate in the sunroom with Dan, Eric, Ryan, and Dan. After we were finished, we went outside for abit. Dan wasn't feeling well, and he was going to be taking it easy today, but somehow he started playing football! I was worried because I wanted him to get better, and he was running around and sweating, and all that!

Re arrived then, and she got some food and then joined us outside. We hung out, and then it was time for cake.

The cake was from Alpine and it was vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream inside. It was soooo good! Everyone said it was great!

We hung out, everyone had a good time! I don't know exactly what time everyone left, but eventually it was down to just Dan, Me, and Re. We hung out in the kitchen for a while and talked about stuff... including curling! We're in.. we're forming our own curling team and we're going to do it this winter! The first meeting is sometime in the beginning of November, so Re is going to send a message to Mark T., our buddy from the open house, and let him know!

Eventually we called it a night and headed home. I got showered up and then we watched some TV!

Now it's time for bed!
