"birthday celebration recap"

Hey Journal!

So last night's Birthday dinner and celebration was a fun time! We left here around 7:00 to get there around 7:30. We figured it would be a good idea to arrive early since we had such a large party and the place says they technically don't accept reservations! :P

We went to Texas Roadhouse in Deer Park and when we got there, Dan let them know we had arrived and that everyone should be there around 8. Kristen and Don had driven us there, and next to arrive were Shawn, Tommy, and Mia. Jen B and Amanda arrived, then Lau, Ryan, and Linda.

We got seated around 8:15 and we had a little bit of an awkward table situation. We had two separate tables that were next to eachother and separated by a big gap! It was okay, though! I sat at one, and Dan sat at the other so that it wouldn't be too weird.

I got a steak with mashed potatoes and fries and it was pretty good! I wasn't able to finish my drink because it was sooo big and I started to feel it right away!

Just as we finished eating, they brought over the crazy birthday saddle and I had to get on while they sang! They made Linda come over, too, because it's her birthday, also! She turned 32, and I turned 30!

The saddle thing was crazy and ridiculous!

After dinner, we all took a group photo in the parking lot and then we headed back home for the par-tay! Parking in our parking lot was a little bit of craziness! There were so many people and cars and not nearly enough visitor spots! There were tons of spots open, though... which is why the whole thing with assigned spots doesn't really work here!

Anyway, some people parked in the "No Parking" space, and others parked across the street!

The party was fun... by special request, Taylor Lautner and Justin Bieber had to come out. They had been tucked away behind the couch for months while we've been having open houses and stuff! It was nice to bring them out again! lol

We hung out, had cake, and Shawn made a Perry the Platypus mask out of a paper plate! It turned out to be amazing, and Jackie walked around with it on. She had the perfect movements for a Perry mask!

All of our parties have a "party animal" and this one's was an inflatable dinosaur that we found at the party store!

The party died down around 1:30 or so and Lau, Ryan, Robby, Phil, Re, and Liz were left. We sat around for a while and talked, and then around 2:00, everyone was getting tired!

Dan and I got ready for bed, and we were exhausted! Now we're up and getting ready for my family party!

I'll be back later on with the details....Should be fun!

Adios for now. :)
