"last outing of the year" or "gym closed by order of the fire marshall"

Hey Journal!

Today was the last outing of the year! I can't believe it! How did this happen!? Well, as long as it's happened... I must say that it's going to be nice as it gets quiet around the golf course again. All of the annoying people will be gone, and we'll have a nice winter, just us chicken in the building.

I had a good breakfast today... eggs, french toast, sausage, and home fries!

I had a lot of random projects to work on today, and on top of that, we have a ton of craziness going on with our crazy Superintendent who may or may not have ordered and applied an important chemical. He is so self destructive!

I left work at 5 today and headed home. I watched the news for a bit, and then it was time to go to the gym.

When we got to the gym, we were really surprised because there weren't a lot of cars in the parking lot! We were able to get a really close spot. Of course, there was a reason for this... the gym was CLOSED! They had signs on the door that said they were "temporarily closed," but gave no information as to why or for how long!

Dan called them and they said that they had been closed down by the Fire Marshall because they had improper wiring for their fire alarm system. What a mess. They also have improper wiring for their air conditioning system... too bad that wasn't enforceable!

What a pain. They said they weren't sure when they would be reopening and that we should call if we plan to come tomorrow. Being annoyed, we decided we would go to the Commack LA Fitness instead. I had never been there, and I wasn't sure that our membership allowed us to use other clubs... but we went anyway.

It wasn't a problem, and it was actually an adventure going to a different location! It's layed out completely differently, but all the equipment is the same. I actually liked the layout of their locker room, too. The rug, and wallpaper, and furniture is all the same, too... so it was a little weird seeing all of those familiar things but having them be completely rearranged.

The one major downside of this LA Fitness was that they didn't have ABC on the TVs! I was appalled... but I wasn't going to let it ruin my World News. I watched it on my phone, instead!

Gym Report:
1 mile on the Treadmill in 15 mins
1 mile on the Treadmill in 13 mins
50 Crunches at 50lbs
2 miles on the EBike in 7 mins

When we got home from the gym, I took a shower and Dan went to get a pizza for dinner. Wr ate and watched Jeopardy! and then Dan watched some of the football game that was on tonight.

Later, we watched Judge Judy, and now it's time for bed!
