"irritated" or "jerry's birthday"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up at the usual time and headed off to work. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary going on this morning, but around 10:00, I realized that I was feeling very irritable today and that I should probably try to keep to myself as much as possible because I knew I was going to be bothered.

I was right, too, and looking back on it I think it was totally not related to my being irritable, but that certainly didn't help.

Dan's dad got to work and was in a mood, too... and I have no idea why. At least, on the bright side of this, I'm fairly certain it had nothing to do with me.

There was a food tasting today and I am a little pissed off about that, too.

But enough about work, I couldn't wait for it to be over and to get home.

I left at 5 and got ready to go out to dinner with Jimmy and Chelsea. Dan went to the gym, and when he got home we headed out to Croxley's in Smithtown. I'm really annoyed with Croxley's because their Farmingdale location has an excellent chicken pot pie on the menu and for some reason it didn't make it on the Smithtown menu.

Other than that, it was a good time, and I got the Shepherd's Pie instead. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed that they had signs plastered all over the place, in the bathroom and around the restaurant, for a St. Patrick's Day event they were having. The only problem was that the big headline was "Drink 'till your green!" YOUR?? WHAT!? You mean, "you're?" Come on. How embarrassing. It makes it look like whoever made that, and the management are illiterate fools. They probably are.

On the bright side, we got a coupon code texted to us for $5 off our meal and when we used it, we actually wound up getting $10 off for some strange reason. Hey.... I'm not complaining!

After that, we planned to go hang out with Jerry for his birthday at Irish Times in Holbrook, but we were a little early, so we stopped by to say Hi to my mom.

At 10:30, we headed to Irish Times. It was a cool bar... it had a pub-like feel to it. I think it would be a nice place to hang out, and there were a good mix of people. The only downside was that they had a weird DJ and they were BLASTING the music! My ears were killing me.

It will still very fun. We hung out with Jerry... Snola and Aisha were there as well, and we had a good time! I'm glad we went.

We left a little after midnight, and when we got home, we watched tonight's Shark Tank! It was a kids episode, and they had all "young entrepreneurs!"

Alas, now it's time for bed! Pretty exhausted. They say it MAY be nicer out tomorrow.... Hope so!
