"bounce" or "last game of the winter league"

Hey Journal!

This morning Dan and I got up around 10:30 and we quickly had to get ready to go to a place called Bounce! We left at 11:00, and we had to meet Jimmy, Chelsea, and Jimmy's sister Michelle there at 11:40.

We pulled up and they had just arrived, so we had perfect timing. This was Jimmy's idea, and when we arrived there were a TON of little kids there! It was crazy! Dan and Chelsea weren't really sure if we should do it considering we'd be surrounded by a ton of little kids, but after consulting the girl at the front desk, she assured us that there was a birthday party that was going to end at 12:00!

So, we were a little sceptical, but we decided to go for it! It was $16 a person for one hour of bounce time! We got set, and at 12:00 we got our wristbands and were ready to go! There were four areas.... first we went to the open bounce area where you basically just hopped from square to square. After a few minutes in there, I was completely out of breath! It was pathetic!

There was also a basketball area where you run down and dunk the ball! That was a lot of fun... probably my favorite, and mostly because after each time you went you could rest up a bit before it was your turn again! lol I got a couple of good vines of myself and Jimmy!

There was a dodgeball area, and also one where you jump into a pit of foam. It was definitely a fun time, and we were all really glad we decided to do it.

The guy in the regular bounce area was a little annoying though because at one Jimmy bumped into me and we both fell. I got up immediately, but Jimmy was still down about 3 seconds later (literally 3 seconds) and the guy was like "YOU HAVE TO GET UP!" Meanwhile, the five of us were the only ones in there, we weren't being stupid or anything, and we were all far away from him. It's also not like he was laying there for a long time, it was so stupid!

At 1:00 when the bounce was over, we were glad that we had only done it for one hour because we were all tired out!

After that, we went to Sixteen Handles.

We were in the mood for FroYo and I got Graham Cracker and Birthday Cake. When we paid, I remembered that we should give Alec's phone number because he's got a rewards card and we wanted to give him the points! Things didn't exactly turn out as we planned, though, because when the lady put our number in she said that there was a $5 discount on the account and applied it to our order! Woops!!

So, we went from trying to help Alec get more points to stealing his $5 discount. Sorry!

Anyway, it was some good froyo.

When we got home, we watched an episode and a half of Game of Thrones before we had to head out for curling.

Re picked us up at 4:30 and we met Linda at Panera at about 5:15. We had our pre-game Panera food, and then afterwards Linda got cookies for the team for later on.

At 6:00, we had to the at the arena for a Learn to Curl! It was about 2.5 hours and Dan, Linda, and I showed some newbies how to throw the stone, sweep, and be a skip! It was pretty fun, but we started to get cold from being out there so long and not moving around very much.

There was a small break between games and we warmed up in the lobby and we had a curling cake, as well as the cookies that Linda got for our team.

In our last game of the season we started out strong but we fell apart near the end. At least it wasn't a total washout...we tied.

After the game was over we hung around for a little while while medals were presented to the winning team of the season and then we went to the diner. I got some eggs, and we played FMK with all the names of the people in the club. Yikes! There were some tough decisions to be made! lol

We got home a couple of minutes ago and we have to get to sleep pretty soon... we have to get up early tomorrow because we're taking a trip upstate to bring my Grandma to a party and then we're gonna do some sightseeing!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
