"the house we want (now)"

Hey Journal!

What a difference a week can make. Last week at this time we were ready to put our first offer down on that house by the 9th Grade Building, and as of yesterday, we were planning to submit a higher offer tomorrow. NOW, everything is up in the air. We saw a house today in King's Park which meets ALL of our criteria! (EXCEPT BEING IN THE SMITHTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT!) YIKES!!

It's the perfect style, gas, low taxes! Amazing. The only problem is, it's going to be a bidding war. I know it!

We've contacted our agent, and he's supposed to be working it. I hate all the middlemen!

Anyway, we got up this morning around 11:00 and watched some This Week. After that, we got ready to head out and enjoy ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND DAY!

We went over to the open house in Kings Park, and we were pleasantly surprised. It has a built in pool, which is not something we want, but with everything else considered....we'll take it.

After the open house, we drove to the entrance of the Sagtikos to see how long it would take to get to work from this house. Next, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. I got the parmesan garlic flatbread pizza.

Next, we went to the mall because I'm really in need of some new shorts. We went to American Eagle first and I found a nice pair but they didn't fit right. The 28s were way too big and the 26 was too tight in the you-know-where! After that, we went to H&M and both Dan and I tried on a couple of pairs. I got one, and Dan got two.

On the way back from the mall we went past the house in Kings Park again. It's really convenient to get to from the east because you just go to the right at the bull and then turn into the neighborhood after the entrance to the hospital.

We timed an alternate route to the Sagtikos, and it was almost the exact same time as the main route. We went to the Commack South Target because I wanted to get something that was out of stock at our regular Target. I have to say that the Commack South Target is a MESS! It's so old fashioned and ghetto! It make ours look like a palace and the new one in Huntington look like a castle!

When we got home, we put some laundry in and then went in the pool! It was my first official pool time of the season! We weren't in very long, though.

When I got out, I took a shower and then Dan and I ordered Heroes from Don Jonos for dinner.

Now we're just getting ready for bed!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
