"scandal marathon" or "the jen b birthday brunch"

Hey Journal!

This morning we woke up around 10:00 and Re was going to pick us up at 11:15 for Jen B's birthday brunch! Since we had a little time, we saw an opportunity to fit in an episode of Scandal! We're hooked!

After that, we got ready and, unfortunately, I dropped one of my contact lenses into the sink! I decided to change both of them, and then we headed out.

We met everyone there and we had to wait a long time for a table... I think it was almost an hour. While we waited, though, we talked to everyone... but mostly Lau and JC. It was nice to catch up with JC since we never see her much anymore!

We also unveiled the news about our new house to everyone...as they didn't know!! We showed the pictures and told them that we're hoping to be in by August first!! AHHH!

Breakfast was good, and it was nice to go out and celebrate Jen B's birthday....especially since she isn't having a fam bbq this year! :(

I got eggs, ham, hash browns, and toast. It was really good! I chose not to get the same thing with pancakes, but in retrospect I was still a little hungry at the end. The thing is...I really wanted the bread, and the bead didn't come with the pancakes!

When we were done, we all parted ways, and but we asked Lau to come back to Dan's house. We told her we had something we wanted to show her.... and Dan, Re, and I presented her with her Martha's Dandee Creme gift card!! She's going up to Lake George next weekend and we wanted to make sure she had it with her! :) She was very happy, and shocked that we had gone there!

We all get our licks at Martha's!!

Next, Dan and I headed inside and did some laundry and watched a SCANDAL MARATHON! We watched a bunch of episodes, and it's getting really good....

After that, Dan took a walk and I took a shower. We watched a little more Scandal.... and now it's time for BED!

I'm soooo not looking forward to work tomorrow.... but on the bright side... just TWO DAYS OF WORK and then VEGAS!! :)
