"back to normal"

Hey Journal!

So here, we are... our first day back at home! We spent the day just relaxing and trying to get back into the swing of things! I got up at about 9:00 and Dan slept until about 10.

We had plans to go to brunch with Re at Cheesecake Factory, so I did some laundry in the morning and then Dan and I watched TV.

We met Re at 12:15. I ordered the lunch portion of spaghetti and meatballs, but the waitress informed us that they didn't actually have any meatballs left! Instead, I switched to the lunch portion of the Crusted Chicken Romano.

There was so much to tell Re about our trip... I feel like the section on the Price is Right took almost the whole time, though! That was the most exciting part, so I guess it makes sense!

After that, Dan and I walked around the mall and Dan got a shirt at H&M. Next, we went to pick up something from my mom. She had purchased some Christmas lights for us (we were in California and they were 25% off on Cartwheel! We didn't want to miss out!)

Dan started to get a headache, so we figured we would head home but wanted to stop at Target first. We went to so many Targets in California... it was nice to be back at home... our home store! haha

We did our usual lap around the store, and there was a cartwheel for 20% off all accent tables! That was amazing because we actually needed a table for our family room. There was once that Dan liked and of course it wasn't in stock. They told us they had them at Commack South... so, off we went.

We got that and some other items and then we headed home. We wanted to catch up on some TV, so we watched a couple episodes of Homeland! We watched two and I think we still have one more. Perhaps we can watch that tomorrow since we have no Monday night shows!

I took a shower and now we're going to watch Once Upon a Time!
